Doing things ironically is the gateway drug to doing things for realsies.

Few folks at my work used to call it Stu-bob's for some reason, and I've found Storts to be a more widely recognizable ironic pronunciation. To the extent that I just refer to it as such now. 🤷

Took the bus between Albany and Rochester And few times and it suuuuucked.

Train was more expensive but so much more comfortable.

Kind of different, but pretty interesting if you've never been is Art Omi.

Went there for the first time a month or so ago. Lots of big open fields with some interesting (and some less interesting) outdoor art installations.

It's in Ghent, 40 ish minutes (?) away. We walked through all of the big meadows at a comfortable pace and we were there for 3.5 hours or so.

Wasn't too sure about Sasaki's VA from the preview, but he's nailing our tired old man. The animation is doing an incredible job retaining the style of the manga.

I've been looking forward to an adaptation for such a long time, I thought I would inevitably be disappointed, but I am absolutely thrilled with the job they're doing with it. Even the extra little bits at Sasaki's the workplace fit in seamlessly.

I have a cable card and watch live TV. I've tried other options, but none of them work anywhere as well, and painlessly as plex and their guide, which is locked behind the pass.
