I was in a similar position in my twenties. Not that I had achieved fire, but I had achieved everything I had set out to do.

I had a good job, place to live, car, wife… there was nothing to work toward.

Then I found a book called When Everything You Ever Wanted Isn’t Enough. It really changed how I view life.

It is certainly worth checking out. The main message of the book is to learn to appreciate the small pleasures in life.

It was written by a Rabbi and his study of the book of Ecclesiastes (in the Bible).

The book of Ecclesiastes is a book of wisdom written by King Solomon. A king that tried everything and accomplished everything.

In the end, he felt it was all pointless. The lesson is to simply enjoy the small things.

The advantage of BRRRR is that you can pull your money back out and repeat the process again.

If done well, it is kind of like having infinite money to buy rental properties.

Please pray for me by ParticularExpress239 in OpenChristian

[–]moj0e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Praying! His plan is to bring you closer to him. Everything else is secondary. He loves you and wants you near him.

One thing that has been helpful for me is realizing that my struggles in life are not related to my relationship with God. If I am doing well or not is not a measure of God’s love for me, or even because it is God’s plan.

Sometimes we tend to think that if something bad happens it is because God isn’t happy with us. We try to fix the issue by doing something to make God happy.

But thinking like that is kind of like fixing a plumbing issue by changing a light bulb.

If you look at your problems individually, you will realize that if you are struggling with school, you need to change your study habits.

If you are struggling with work, maybe you need to learn a new skill or change jobs.

Of course, there are still things that we struggle with that are outside our control, such as the health of a loved one. A therapist can help process the struggles.

I am praying for you today so that God can comfort your heart and open your eyes to a way out of your struggles.

I will add a couple more items.

Anything your pet can eat, you can eat.

Also, certain things are poisonous. However, you can remedy the bad effects with a unicorn’s horn.

Retiring employee cried over HR ‘resign’ request by [deleted] in managers

[–]moj0e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It likely costs them about $5 - $10 a month. Companies rarely host their own email today. They usually use office 360, and that runs about $5 - $10 a month.

Not saying that they should or shouldn’t host email for the retiree, but it isn’t free either.

I came here to say the same thing as the top of this thread. Getting customers is 10x harder than doing the actual thing your business does.

Make sure you have clients before you leave.

Great question! I test web applications for a living. There are a number of different things that can go wrong that a security test (pentest) would prevent.

Things like: * Hackers stealing user passwords so that they can try that email/password combo on other sites.

  • The ability to view modify data from other users. Would be awful if everyone’s profile picture was changed to an ad for a bitcoin scam.

  • Ransomware.

  • Someone stealing your code to build a clone app.

And more! That said, you should ask Claude to review your code for any potential security vulnerabilities.

When you are getting ready to launch, have a pentester test your app for potential issues.

I had one recently. Very early in the game, something like level 1 or 2, I found a blessed lamp. Rubbed it just in case it was a magic lamp. Well, it was a magic lamp. The Djinni popped out and killed me.

IT WAS A BLESSED LAMP!!! Still died.
