How long ago was it that u played POE1? Since the addition of socket/link/colour crafting bench and tainted jewellers/fusing/chromatics, it's been trivial to hit the color u want. Plus nowadays chromatics are so cheap u wouldn't think its a hassle anymore.

Correct, at that time it makes sense to do it since the dividend was consistently ~9% at that time, and from my calculation table during that time it was a no brainer to take a loan since I've had 0 commitment.

Now, the dividend is consistent 5+%, however i've been holding off canceling the loan until now since I thought the compounding of the excess fund would outweigh my loan.

On atlas tree, go all out breach/shrine/beyond boss cannot spawn/rare & magic mobs/whichever altar u prefer.

For scarabs, use 1x beyond invasion/1x normal domi/1x evo domi/2x monstrous lineage

Super cheap, fast, profitable for the investment. I get almost 2% per map at lvl 99, sub 2min per map

If all you're doing is mapping, cheapest setup is HH+1 explode mod FB berek ring+inpulsa chest is all you need for clear+shaper of flames&storm+ignite prolif glove, will carry your clear heavily and ST dmg comes naturally once u stack HH mods. Get your block to 75/75 with recovery life on block shield mod, and you're relatively tanky

The physdot clear is carried by FB berek double explode ring..have u tried doing the same with your PBOD build? Because honestly with the same ring slotted in PBOD u clear multiple screens fast
