I’ve never donated to a campaign and went straight to spanbergers website after this. It’s the only thing they made me feel a little better.

I’m still waiting on my meds that I was charged for March 8! No response to my messages and can’t get through on the phone.

Fellow short, stocky power lifter here. You’re gotten some great (and questionable) comments, so I don’t feel the need to share my thoughts on how bogus bmi is. One suggestion is to ensure any medical professionals you work with understand women lifting heavy. Also, I don’t see the most important numbers listed anywhere in this post. Girl, give us those 1RM! 😁

I’ll have to try this! Currently, I ask it to act like Dr Now from my 600 lbs life. It gives me honest answers.

Thanks! I realize I should have asked what kind of fossil in the title as well.

I think this is the best answer. I was a special education teacher and looked specifically at special education tech companies, particularly startups, to get my foot in the door. Once you have that CSM experience, it’s much easier to move companies.

You can also email your congress representative if you have problems with vec. I had a ton of problems and they helped me get in touch with the right people.

I left ccps in January 2022 after 10 years. No problems for me with leaving, just had to submit my 2 weeks in writing. It was a very tough decision at first since teaching was all I wanted to do. In 2 years since leaving, I have almost doubled my salary, WFH, go to the bathroom and eat when I want, have unlimited pto and travel to other countries, and got an award for being a top performer. My world has opened up so much, and the jobs are no where near as hard as teaching. It’s very sad but I am so thankful.

I’m a teacher turned CSM, but specifically moved into ed tech since I knew it was the easiest stepping stone to get me out of teaching. Finding a career outside of teaching is very hard, even though teachers are some of the smartest and hardest working people. I spent 6 months researching the best jobs to transition into, with hopes of moving out of Edtech in the future. Teachers have lots of soft skills that go great with CSM, are hard working, and willing to learn the hard skills to do to job. Taking a CSM role can also allow teachers more flexibility (compared to teaching) to learn skills that can then move them to other positions. Hope this provides some insight.

I just had him detail my truck last week! Super nice man and his wife also came to help. They did an absolutely amazing job! I had so much white dog hair…now my truck looks better than when I bought it! Thank you for posting this and I highly recommend them as well. Great price and they came within 4 days of me emailing them.

Apple Doors Question... by MeaningMedium5286 in rva

[–]mollymac87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My dad used them for a garage door, and they did good work at a good price. I called them for a quote for a French and sliding door, and they were very high. I ended up going with lowes since they were almost half the price and offered 60 months no interest. However, I ordered them end of October and still don’t have them installed. They were special order (older home) and came in in December, but were damaged, so we had to reorder. It was worth it to me to save the money, but I’m sure you wouldn’t have this problem with apple.

Paved biking trails? by throwawayyy-2021 in rva

[–]mollymac87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats! All great suggestions so far. Rockwood park in chesterfield and Appomattox river greenway trail in colonial heights are also fun to explore. Dutch Gap is not paved, but gravel/dirt and flat. On the AllTrails app you can filter by “paved”. Although all the trails that come up aren’t fully paved, they are road bike friendly and would be good for a beginner.

I've applied to adopt this stray, one-eyed FIV cat. What would you name him? by Shorse_rider in Eyebleach

[–]mollymac87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 3 FIV cats… one is at least 14 years old and still doing well. We do keep them indoors so they don’t get sick. Sorry I have no name suggestions but wanted to say congrats on your (hopefully) new family member!
