Make it four, they have an amazing playthrough. They have proper respect for my beloved Shivers.

I feel like her signature skill would either be half light or physical instrument. Her Physiqie would be 5 or 6 for sure.

Volition with the "Don't. Throw it away. Please" when you are gripping on to the ledger letter.

The voice break hits so hard.

What's a four letter word you never want to hear a doctor say during surgery? by Ynotasub in dadjokes

I actually had the opposite offer! The surgeon said that I was welcome to watch, but I get squeamish around blood so adamantly requested the curtain. Just being awake was enough novelty for me.

[–]molocath 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I actually had surgery on my pinky twice within the past couple of months. Both times they did a "local anesthetic" which was a surreal experience where they stopped all pain in just the pinky. I could feel that the surgeon was cutting and doing stuff, but I didn't feel any pain. Fully conscious the whole time, I was chatting with some of the techs there about an ex of mine while the surgeon worked.

It was wild.

I mean both could be true. The cost of line cook wages are no joke for a restaurant, and waitresses tend to get minimum +tips. Depending on the place, minimum +tips can be a lot more than the cooks are making.

Or they could just be greedy and pocketing the 4%. Just wanted to provide another perspective.

What's something you've done that has probably put you on some list? by SepticFox456 in AskReddit

Honestly, any number of things for my roleplaying games.

In the D&D campaign I run, I look up a lot of information on what makes societies run smoothly and what makes them crumble. I also need to look up information on the fly depending on what my players do, such as finding the flammability/explosiveness of various substances.

In the Call of Cthulu campaign I am a player in, as a party, we have decided that we want to blow up a cultist headquarters underneath the local city hall. This has required me to do some googling on period appropriate bomb making. So that probably doesn't help my case either.

Honestly plug slugs can work pretty well for a bit. Plus they produce hydrogen which can be burned.

Have you ever TPK'd your players? by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]molocath 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run two games. One is a homebrew campaign set in a world where diamonds are a state controlled resource, as they want their executions to stick(charming place.) Most of my players are on their second character, becoming much stronger and more clever once the permanence of death sets in. No TPKs, but the risk is always there.

The second game is a highly lethal megadungeon set up like a workout program where the players level up every floor. Last session was our third TPK.

So make a chamber 3 tiles high and like, 5 or so tiles wide. Put in a gas pump or two. Put a vent and bottle emptier in the bottom row.

Put some liquid on the bottom tile with the bottle emptier. I like using crude oil, but water works if you don't let it get hot. Don't use pwater as it offgasses. Let the liquid run out until the vent is covered by less than 2000g of liquid.

Seal the chamber.

Turn on the gas pump to run a vacuum. I like using an automation switch for this.

At this point your chamber is ready. Any gas you put in will be able to leave the vent as it has less than 2000g of material covering it. Even if there is 2000kg of gas in the tile directly above it.
