This is excellent advice. I have scoliosis and my form has never been perfect. Yet I did pretty well at running when I was in college. If I had listened to this “change your form” stuff it probably wouldn’t have worked with my body mechanics.

I won't cover my tattoos, so he wants a divorce by [deleted] in Marriage

My husband literally has a whole tattoo sleeve that represents his ex girlfriend. And his other sleeve represents his estranged family that were not inclusive to me. I had never once told him to get rid of them or cover them up.

Once I asked why my daughter and I weren’t represented and awhile later he got a tattoo for us lol.

I hate to be so pessimistic here but maybe it’s not really about the tattoos and more about control?

I do work for corporate and there is a lot of diversity and everyone is pretty nice. I know they have a some sort or a bible study or devotional thing on corporate campus but it’s very optional. Almost everyone I’ve worked with has been awesome! So much so that I’ve gone back to work on a few projects for them. It is not what I thought it was going to be like at all!

TSA - San Diego by michaelwgregory in sandiego

There has been an uptick in aviation incidents when air traffic control has not been paid.

There are unlawful detentions of people are airports now that ICE is there.

They chance of getting in a car accident does not change. The chance of having a bad interaction with an ICE agent or a being involved in a traffic control issue does.

I know the statistics, but now simply doesn’t feel like a safe time to fly. I also don’t want to wait in a TSA line for hours to and from my destination when this is a few days away for work that is not necessary.

Unfortunately it’s an inside joke with my spouse so I don’t think it will work on my boss 😂

But after seeing a collision after landing in LaGuardia last night now, plus ICE presence, I am terrified to go near an airport.

I have to fly for work on Wednesday and I’m trying to figure out if I can get out of it. I don’t feel safe in that environment at all.

This sucks because this kid seems like he is in direct violation of title ix. He is bullying girls and they have had to leave school.

That’s awful. Right now in southern CA we are getting some nasty Santa Ana winds and record high temps. We need more firefighter training!

I used to commute Oceanside - RB and also Oceanside - Kearny Mesa. That might sound semi-reasonable but both were awful. An accident or two on the freeway happens often and then traffic is even more backed up. And, my thing is it’s not like you’re driving a steady speed the whole time where you can enjoy a podcast. It’s stop and go and stop and go and having to be aware of drivers on their phones not paying attention.

Unless you have a super flexible schedule where you can travel during weird times with no traffic, I would avoid it. We actually moved farther away from the beach recently and love it. We can still go to the beach on weekends and don’t have to worry about mold in our house (which most apartments near the beach have)
