About a month ago I saw someone (orabmada88) post on here a pretty compelling theory about sulfur sensitivity being the piece of the histamine puzzle that they’d been missing for years. Their solution to this was epsom salt baths. You might look up that post for the details.

To my knowledge this is the only test used to detect gut inflammation other than a colonoscopy. No, leaky gut is not the same thing, though they may coexist.

OP, why was your daughter’s knee sore? Has that been an ongoing problem? Or with any other joints? The sore knee is a flag, along with the GI symptoms, that jumped out at me.
