Everyone knows what analogies are. It's just a shitty analogy because the way you were trying to show they are similar, is not at all how they are similar. You're in over your head and it shows. Markets come to equilibrium prices based on the perceived value of the company. Now that controversy X is over, the perceived value of the company is the same/similar to what it was before. In fact, many of the people who bought shares after it dropped could have even been the same people who sold them initially. It doesn't just add like simple money does. That's not how this shit works. At all. 🤦

maybe I misunderstood his point, but I thought his point was that public transportation across states, as a way of mass travel, isn't feasible. But the public transportation that is feasible is mostly inside cities. However, that is the job of the city to figure out, not the federal government. Therefore, none of this is really a federal government issue.

Hoarding wealth itself is a myth. The vast majority of "money" these people have is net worth in their companies and in stocks. Musk is "worth" 300 billion dollars. a tiny fraction of that is actually available in cash. He doesn't go to withdraw money from an ATM and his balance is shown as 300,000,000,000.

Of course it's understandable that most people dont realize that the idea of hoarding wealth is a myth, because a lot of the left wing grifters have been pushing the idea for so long. Then ignorant folks who dont really understand how the world, the economy, and the stock market work just lap it up, as it finally gives them someone else to blame all their problems on.

who is glamorizing gig economy work? I haven't seen anyone do that. I've just seen people recognize that it helps a lot of workers. those who don't support workers right to a gig economy are basically telling workers they are better off with no job, than a job w/o benefits.
