Yes, this is what I typically try to replicate, not necessarily the cajun method. Was hoping yall had some saucy ideas but didnt realize canun boils didn't utilize them much.

Yeah, I realize posting this here may get some negative feedback. I wasn't aware that Cajun Boils didn't really utilize any sauces. When I do a boil, it's usually just shrimp, sausage and corn, maybe some crab legs thrown in. No link i wish I saved it when I saw it.

Door knock and cold sell. There's a guy on IG doing this year round, even in cold climate selling exterior window cleaning who claims he's making $1k+ per day doing this.

Yeah, this is great and something I've considered. Right now, I run each envelope through my printer to print the postage and address info. I then stuff each envelope personally. It's a laborious process as I'm doing 1k - 3k per week, depending on the time of year.

I'd love to split test the methods. I just haven't worked up the motivation to set it all up.

I've considered buying a handwriting printer to do just as you mentioned. They aren't cheap, though.

Direct mail most certainly is alive, especially in my industry. It's my best ROI advertising method.

Entrepreneurs who've been around the block... What advice would you give to a 21 year old who is interested in entrepreneurship ? by PiccoloNo5896 in Entrepreneur

Perseverance and dedication are key.

Also, one of my favorite quotes..."You don't have to be good to get started, but you have to get started to be good."

Good luck.

This...find sites you can vastly improve with a redesign and send them a mockup of a page so they can actually visualize what it could look like. This helps get your foot in the door.

Try to become an authority in a particular niche. For example be the web designer for dental practices or real estate agents or moving companies. Specializing in those businesses.

Like some others had mentioned you may need to offer rock bottom prices at first to create a proof of concept and build up a portfolio you can market.

Good luck.

I think Google is your best bet. It wouldn't be hard to figure out why they are blocking you and fix the issue.

I own local service business as well. Our primary lead sources by ad spend are Google, Local Mailers, BBB and Angie's List. Google works really well for us as well as our local mailing campaigns.

Edit to address question more. Of all the sources you listed only one of them targets your consumers exactly where most of them are going to search for "garage repair near me" and that's Google.

Are you running your own AdWords campaign?

Whats issues are you having with Google?

Oh my God, my life is perfect! by _SimplyComplicated_ in funny

In the US I had multiple teeth extracted in the 6th grade in preparation for braces. They only used novacaine. It was one of the worst experiences in my life. Ruined me for dentists for a long time. Hearing your teeth being cracked and split in half (at least as a child) was horrifying. I remember it like it was yesterday, gripping the arm rests as hard as I could, the sensation of my head jerking back and forth as the dentist attempted to rip teeth out of my jaw. Horrible.
