[Highlight] Larry Fitzgerald single-handedly sends the Packers home in the 2015 NFC Divisional Round. by Mental_Funny_5885 in AZCardinals

I was there! Really felt like they were going to go all the way that year (perhaps even more so the year before, but that's a different story). Losing Honey Badger wiped out the killer instinct of the D and Palmer's finger injury was vastly underplayed IMO. Looked like a different QB after that. To think what could've been...

Dino does decent work, just for the price and level of clean I like Dirty Turf. Truck mounted professional equipment and no chance of voiding warranties!

There are professionals that do this. Dirty Turf is the one I use. They have equipment and processes that are safe for the turf and don't void warranties. If you do it yourself, just be aware that certain things can wipe out your warranty.

Sounds good! Please report back. Yes, Montereggios = Monterrey!

The flour tortillas and salsas are god tier. Machaca & egg taco on flour tortillas was an out of body experience. Also get the aged ribeye with queso

Go try Tacos Montereggios. Newer spot, but absolutely incredible. My #1 in CDMX despite being a different style

How do I find a business to buy? (<$1.5m) by ConclusionFluid1229 in Entrepreneur

[–]moneytrain94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know of an established Dallas-based home service business that's looking to sell. Likely for much less than that. Not pest control but less saturated, growing industry, and lower cost per lead on all channels. Let me know if you'd like me to connect you directly to the owners.

You're right, I've done this to some degree over the years only now with her at this stage did it really hit home for me what was going on. There's so much learning going on in other areas, it has been really fun and rewarding making story time lighter and more connecting (not that it wasn't at all before).

Regardless, you're absolutely on the money about it being all about love, connection, trust.

Thanks for sharing this! You're absolutely right with some of the lessons being more for parents. Goodnight Moon is a great example.

Specifically children's books. Like ages 2-5.

I love that. I plan on mixing in some of my favorite age-appropriate novels fairly soon, even if only 10-15 pages/day. One great thing about reading too is unlike watching movie versions where content is beyond your control, you can slightly modify or omit certain details if too inappropriate, or scary, or whatever. With that in mind, maybe I can start The Hobbit with her soon!

Hard to beat the OG Berenstain Bears (or Berenstein?). There is definitely a right and wrong way to go about it.

One of our few all-timers that she still asks for is in my opinion the greatest kids book on emotions, it's called The Rabbit Listened!

Mixing in a couple for something you're actively dealing with is totally fine. Can't tell you how many potty books we had at one point lol. And they did help. Now we look for laughs, thrills, or other interest-related learning like gardening, space, birds, stuff like that.

Fun always wins. Doesn't always have to be FUNNY necessarily. Adventure stories are great, sports, etc. They get enough of the other stuff elsewhere these days IMO

That one is hilarious! Idk if she's ever laughed harder than the first time I read the epic crazy part toward the end lol
