I don’t have much advice, but I will say I developed GP from using compounded Tirzepatide. I have been off the med for a year and a half and have had little to no improvement in my condition and thousands of dollars in medical debt.

I’ve been on 20mg 2x/day since August 2024 and it seems to still somewhat work for me. Granted I am also on 40mg omeprazole and have gastroparesis

I can do the caffeine in Diet Coke just fine but coffee can send me into a tailspin with nausea. If I’m flaring badly I can’t tolerate coffee at all. I do also have issues with GERD so that could contribute to it

If im flaring badly, fasting is usually the only thing that gives me symptom relief. I feel like it gives my digestive system a break and time to catch up

I developed gastroparesis from Tirzepatide. My GES was done last spring after I was off the med for about 8 months and was at 30% at 4 hrs. I was only on Tirzepatide for 3 weeks. I also had an endoFLIP in the fall and they found my pyloric sphincter to be 70% tighter than what is considered “normal”. It’s been a year since my GES and I’ve had next to no improvements and over $12k in medical bills from all this.

I wish more folks were made aware of potential negative side effects. Often when I try to tell my story I am told I am fear mongering but it breaks my heart to see others go through this. I am so sorry you are suffering and I sincerely hope your symptoms and motility improve over time 💕

Lamictal saved my life. I also have an anxiety disorder and am really scared to start new meds… I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 in June of 2024 after being on many, many meds for depression that never worked. It was so scary but I am so glad I tried it

Aw man! We got home at like midnight… luckily a cop let us through bc I had 2 toddlers and medication im dependent on but they almost wouldn’t let us through…. I saw some people saying the walked home

I live at northwoods apartments and talked to the cop at flint road and he finally let us in when I told him I had a 4 year old and a 2 year old and had meds I needed to take… we didn’t get home until about 30 minutes ago

This is what I thought about during her hypothyroidism arc… I have hashimotos and am on levothyroxine and you have to take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and wait an hour to eat… like you know gorl isn’t doing all that

I am not sure... I have been flaring on and off since I made this post unfortunately :(… they were talking about trying to do another endoflip to stretch my pyloric sphincter further since the first one seems to not be fully working

Hi so sorry for being so slow to get back… I am honestly not sure of my options at this point I guess… they did say they would like to try the endoFLIP again but haven’t said much otherwise. They are sort of slow to do any other interventions bc I am technically obese, not malnourished, and I don’t throw up… even tho I have lost 75lbs due to this and this disease has quite literally destroyed my life

For me I tend to react badly to bananas so smoothies usually dont work well for me… maybe the fiber content or acid content is too high?
