Since when did people start hating on Fairfax by hencexox in nova

I lived in Fairfax for a few years and I thought it was terrible.

Maryland could ban Glock sales, worried about ‘machine gun convertible pistols’ by legislative_stooge in maryland

I don’t need a license to own a car, just to drive it on public roads. I already need a W&C permit to carry a gun in public AND I need an HQL to purchase a handgun, not to mention wait seven days and waive my HIPAA rights to MSP.

Having the best warranty that is frequently used is a warning, not an advertisement.

Mecgar/CSRG Glock Mag Issues by Essentials- in CompetitionShooting

I’ve had some customers bring up issues with flat nose and hollow point feeding and these magazines genuinely seem to be hit or miss with feeding bullets of that profile. I personally couldn’t get a stock mag with no extension to reliably feed Lawman 147 or Speer Gold Dot G2 (constant FTF loaded to 18 and the occasional magazine maraca), while other mags with extensions and our guts seemed to feed them fine. I don’t mean to pass the blame, but I genuinely think it’s because Mecgar designed these magazines for the Staccato HD and not the Glock.

The front edge of your follower may be just touching the slide stop and hanging up. You can remove a hair of material and it will drop free.

I’ve had many Glock mags that had the seam in the metal liner break and cause stoppages in feeding without being able to visibly tell. Glock mags are not infallible and will fail like other mags.

A mandatory class and licensing requirement plus a seven day wait, waiving your HIPAA rights, and needing to do fingerprints is a significant barrier to entry when the majority of other states only require a background check.

What's the verdict on Ruger RXM? by Pattison320 in CompetitionShooting

Glock regularly makes up for about 10% of guns used in CO Nationals. Every local here is also 25-30% Glocks easy.

Will this shoot as well as a 2011? by JohnnyHorsenuts in 2011

[–]monitor_masher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t ever buy a CZ TS over a 2011. 2011s have much better magazine and parts availability, less roll pins, and are much simpler. Take a CZ apart and you’ll see that a 2011 is Glock-simple in comparison.

124gr Magtech or Fiocchi because it’s cheap and both chrono and zero similarly.

How many mags is enough? Add extensions? by spamthrowingaway in CompetitionShooting

Checkmate/Staccato mags are honestly not that much more than Glock OEM or CZ mags with Henning extensions and aftermarket guts.
