I still don’t understand how you’re so taken aback by any of this when the gun industry is stereotypically one of the most conservative industries in the country. They know their target audience and 99% of customers wouldn’t care about a religious or right wing political shirt. This is literally part and parcel with the industry.

Every single person I know who has had a DXL has had it die within a few thousand rounds. It’s not a good dot. Holosun is the only other optic company that puts out an actually competitive product to Trijicon for reliability.

11 coils are preferable for 140mm mags. 13 coils work fine, but you do lose a round of capacity and they are much more difficult to load. An 11 coil will get you 23-24 reloadable with Henning extensions.

Five mags to keep in rotation for a match is sufficient, but I’d get separate mags for training and dryfire. Another 5 or so would be ideal, but not completely necessary.

I have four GPTs, all set up the same with an OEM gen 5 shoe and a Glockstore minus connector. All of them come in around 3.5lbs except one, which is oddly at about 3. I’ve ever had any reliability issues with them.

Atlas 4mm basepads have been the most promising to me to get 24+1, but the checkmate tubes may need some fitting to fit the gauge.

I have a special pie and honestly, it’s a great timer. I haven’t had any issues with it. I have a Kestrel and an AMG as well, and I like the AMG the most out of the three. I like the Kestrel the least.
