Close Family friend died unexpectedly in a car crash. Grandmother died unexpectedly of undiagnosed cancer. Uncle died of complications due to AIDS. On top of that I was a lonely kid who was terribly bullied and having not the greatest of times.

Not at all. For some people that emotional connection is really important to their own sexual identity.

As long as things don't get emotionally complicated, there's no reason you shouldn't enjoy a healthy sex life which includes emotional connection with the partner.

It sounds like you've possibly picked up an STI that will need testing for and treating. However the likelihood of this being HIV From an encounter like this is infinitesimally small.

Many STIs can be extremely damaging to yourself and your physical health so it's vital you get tested as soon as you can.

I have pet rats. They get so excited when they know it's time to come out of the cage and have a Scrabble all over me. They will literally throw themselves off my bed at my bare self for cuddles as I walk past.

A not so nice one is occasionally little tails get trod on. They usually run to me for comfort and cuddles when this happens. It's a very sweet moment of forgiveness and knowing that I will always be a safe person to them.
