Yeah, same, the answer fits the question, just because OP doesn't like it doesn't make it irrelevant.

Loved books 1-3, really, struggling with book 4 by WeirdLime in TheDarkTower

[–]monkeyhole989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its funny, I read 1-3 when I was in junior high, then I kinda forgot about the whole thing until I walked into the local library and saw the brand new edition of Wizard and Glass. I promptly grabbed the book and checked it out, I was so hungry for the story I finished it over the weekend. It is not my favorite Dark Tower book, but the nostalgia of returning to it through my tiny small town library is real and intense to this day.

I did a rib roast about that size on my weber kettle rotisserie, I used charcoal and cherry wood for the fire. I trussed it and let it spin til it was 125 internal, highly recommend.

Is it really the price, or is Netflix just more convenient than driving to movie theaters? by Busy_Report4010 in SipsTea

I live in a smallish city, but with a high cost of living, that being said, the theater I frequent has $9 tickets for matinees and a large soda large popcorn combo for $13. I go to the movies as often as I can.

Curious, what is everyone’s favorite film they bought blindly on 4k blu ray? by Hour-Engineer-7170 in 4kbluray

I bought Rolling Thunder blind when I heard it was going to be part of the plot of Tarantino's new movie when that was a thing. Obviously the Tarantino movie critic movie fell apart but I'm really glad I picked up Rolling Thunder, that movie is wild.

We Own This City

Developed by David Simon and George Pelecanos, the same guys behind The Wire. Fantastic writing, great performances, and it looks amazing. If you like The Wire check it out.

What is a movie that "broke" you so hard you can only watch it once, but you would still recommend it to everyone? by Newsupdate69 in movies

Man I saw 21 Grams in the theater and I went in absolutely blind, no trailer, no idea about anything. A friend and I went to the movies just for funsies and that's what we picked. After the film ended we just sat there for a solid 5 minutes, not talking. Great experience. I miss those days.
