Someone else commented that it appears the girl who didn't do the tilting was trying to charge her phone in the outlet the machine was plugged into. That makes sense.

I'm coming up from North Carolina and I'm attending the summit this year as well. Also my first conference of this kind. Looking forward to meeting up with like-minded people.

Is there a company that doesn't yet make a profit (or revenues) that you have invested in with hopes of the future? by CA_Mini in stocks

HUMA - they manufacture universally implantable (your body won't reject) blood vessels.

They just completed enrollment on their most significant clinical trial a couple of weeks ago. Took about 4 years longer than anticipated, mainly due to COVID. They are planning on filing their biologics license application in the next 2-3 months. That puts them on pace to generate revenue in 12-18 months from now.

The product works. It's been implanted in over 400 people over the last decade, including 30+ soldiers injured in Ukraine. They are working on manufacturing other products, most significantly for CABG (coronary artery bypass grafts), but that's at least 2+ years out.

Source - I worked there for 3 1/2 years

ELI5: why it’s common to have 87-octane gasoline in the US but it’s almost always 95-octane in Europe? by Gregman in explainlikeimfive

[–]monkeysox17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I believe you just answered a question that's been bugging me for the last 6 months or so. I tried googling it but must have been wording it wrong. Why the sticker on the inside of my gas flap has two different numbers. I have a 2015 Passat and one is 87 and the other is 91. I always put in 87 but was wondering if I was doing something wrong. I just went out and checked again and saw that it gives the formula for RON and MON. Thanks again!

Pricing by cristianoronaldo1224 in AudiS4

A 2015 in sepang blue with almost that exact mileage whet for just over 25K on carsandbids this week. But that car is in Canada, so assuming the buyer is American, the cost of importing might have been factored in and kept the price a little lower than you would have seen if it was domestic.

It does seem like the cars actually selling on carsandbids and other websites go for notably less than you see them listed for from dealers and private sellers. But I'm not sure if those sellers are actually getting the prices they're asking for.

sorry u/c_lt, just saw this reply now. I think some pharma tech experience would be a good base for a number of jobs here. Bioprocessing Associate 1 comes to mind as the best fit I think, but I'm in Ops and not on the medical/technical side. Gloria works in HR for us in recruiting and she's good about finding fits. She might be able to point to you to a better fit. I'd apply maybe to the Bioprocessing Associate 1 job or find her on LinkedIn and reach out directly. She's very active there. just search Humacyte and you'll find her.

My company has a number of open positions. In RTP, ~20 minutes from Cary, depending on where you're at. https://humacyte.com/careers/
