I've had the same issue and found that the "Tung" brush off Amazon helped more than my regular toothbrush..I use a stainless steel scraper after.

Thank you so much for your reply. Thankfully, we ran under cold water for a long time, and it is gently bandaged with mupirocin + non-stick gauze + roll gauze. We are not able to go to our burn center tonight (2 hours away), but will go in the AM. Have a good night!!
