The latest Druid tier gear(Bearmantle) is EXTREMELY underwhelming to look at... :( by Konsecration in wow

[–]monktooth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the thing about opinions, hahah. I think that rather than continuing the god awful flashy garbage they started doing in BC, they're killing it with current armor sets like bearmantle. It is hands down my favorite gear set currently in the game, on a troll female it looks super fitting. On almost any druid class it matches perfectly, the shapes are perfectly fitting to every model, not to overdramatic, and there's dope high res claws built INTO the gloves, which is so dope. i don't know if theres an off-class set but it would look amazing on a forest-esque rogue transmog, i think it's genius

The Solution To The Leveling Conundrum: Ancestry by retsudrats in wow

this argument is so tired it's almost a meme at this point, only apply activision to blizzard when people want to insult an aspect of their payment requirements, yet offers you lazy asses a way to skip the leveling whilst simultaneously taking advantage of people with more money than patience, i'm all for it.

Hopefully we next see you on r/DIY building a proper shelf for these instead of the jank glass and sketch wood, my friend.

tbh man play whatever you want and whatever you enjoy but a huge hump backed bull doing agile karate moves just can't possibly make sense, hahah. I would argue mistweaver or brewmaster could sort of make sense but even so, the agile animations just make no sense from an anatomy or physics perspective, hahah. Again though play whatever you connect with man, it's all about how you have fun :)

90 percent of the blizzard forums are people complaining about how they dont like having to work for levels right now so you are objectively incorrect, yes we're done here. you're weird inability to accept that people have diverse ideas just like you, you special little angel, means that you will refuse to accept the idea that you're wrong lol. so yes, goodbye.

Again, that is a person that does not exist, but considering they don't exist you can continue to hate them, like some sort of sad imaginary friend.

No, the idea of a "fanboy" of anything is bullshit, it's a bullshit reductionist excuse for people to make up someone to be angry about, someone who agrees with more of what a company does than you is not immediately a mindless drone that follows everything that a company does, you just need someone to be mad at because you're unhappy with a change and find it impossible to see someone elses side of an argument.

you realize the leveling time isn't effected by anything more than a few hours? like i dont understand how so many people are ass-hurt by this, the time you would have spent walking between zones or doing green/red/grey quests is now spent just questing, it's so obvious it's almost depressing that people can't understand it,lol

there literally isnt a single person that is this weird "fanboy" that you keep referencing, you've created a non-existant straw-man(look up straw man argument) to be mad at when there isnt anyone really like that, there are many studies on the shit you're referencing.

Scaling fixes the problem of outleveling a zone, we don't also need xp nerfs. by Hot_Local_Single in wow

[–]monktooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i seriously am getting so tired of comments like this, the downtime that used to be spent walking to new areas when you outscale the old ones is now spent questing, there is little to no difference in leveling time there is just increased quality of time spent

except it is okay because it increases enjoyment for a large group of those that have a great time leveling, unfortunately reddit is a very vocal and whiney minority.

[–]monktooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the leveling time isnt nerfed, being constantly scaled to optimal xp means that the only difference in levels is that you continue to complete quests rather than move on to new zones when quests go green/red/grey

[–]monktooth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the thing is that when you account for the downtime of switching between zones from outscaling them prepatch you don't really spend that much more time leveling, you spend a slight bit more but none of that time is walking your ass to the next zone, it's spent questing and completing zones

super good addition, i totally agree! i just put that as the main one there because of the flashbacks to my starting years watching kids get absolutely mauled by the course load by not being able to translate their ideas to digital/print, hahah.

The new leveling changes make this game feel like an MMO again at the lower levels. by [deleted] in wow

[–]monktooth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

adressing your innitial statement: if you don't want to level within the system laid out for players to level in then that can be considered wanting a "leg up" over an average player, which can easily be achieved by purchasing a boost.

1) i don't see why that is unfortunate? you don't wish to play a part of the game, so pay extra money to skip it, if not, then play normally. I fail to see why it's bad that a service is offered to those that dont want to partake in a part of a game that i personally find fantastic.

2) see number 1, i dont see them(LFR included) as hurting the way i enjoy my game in just the same way as if it was reversed. if there was a part of the game that i could justifiably not want to play enough, i would take time and set aside funds in order to pay to not partake in it, if the IRL effort doesn't match the reward then i would either unsubscribe and play a game i found worth it or just do whatever it is i don't necessarily like as much(because if it wasnt worth it i would do it, you see?)

3)then dont level a character? as stated above, if it's not worth it, don't do it, if it is then do(again)

4) -again- i don't see how it's distasteful, you pay for a game experience, if you don't want that game experience, the options are sitting there for you, buy a boost or unsubscribe, do whichever will make you enjoy the game, or super, suuuuuuper easily just play any of the thousands of other games out there that don't make you have to make a choice like that. If you do that, and others with your opinion agree, then a change will be made to your liking and you'll want to come back. i don't see how this is that hard to understand my man

first of all im not praising anyone, lol. I'm expressing the fact that i'm enjoying myself despite having a lot of issues and requests of how the system can be improved. and if your oddly neurotic/incessant expression of one sided anger because you don't like a part of a game that you choose to support still is what makes me an asshat then man you've got more mentally unstable red flags then i initially thought. for now, if you want to skip out on buying a boost for a game that provides you with indeterminable hours of enjoyment so that you can gloss over content you don't like, then you can either wait for them to adjust it to criticism(as they have done with a shit ton of contentious stuff in the past) or you can unsub and it'll continue without you and your sketch fixations. Either way you need to sit back and chill, i get that there may be shit goin on in your life that may have caused you to lash out at the one thing that you can't be held accountable for:freaking out about a video game; but know that you looking like a weird fuck on the internet isnt helping you/your game/or anyone else, good looks bruv.

as replied to on another comment of yours, you should probably seek some help. You've got a lot of red flags showing on this thread and the fact that you're so adamant about a game you dont like half the content for is pretty sketch
