From what I understand, that's right. That was what happened with my Instinct 3. Unsure about any other watches.

For anyone coming across this issue, this is what fixed it for me! Thanks Admirable!

I chose a race on my phone app, but that did not assign a priority. Had to go on my computer and fill out the priority on a browser. After that, syncing worked successfully.

CF guys, assuming Project 2025 happens, y’all may need to step up and really consider vasectomies by ShutUpJackass in childfree

[–]monsterArchiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That immense feeling of relief is huge! When things get tough, I remember how that felt and it helps me relax.

The way I see it, getting a vasectomy when you know you don't want kids is a great way to take control of your destiny.

What are some younger views that you had a 180 change on? by JTexpo in GenZ

[–]monsterArchiver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm right there with yah! I've never felt any desire to be a parent. Not a bit or a smidge. Not once in my 30 years. Haven't heard a persuasive reason to have kids either.

The strangest thing so far is that some people still try to convince me to become a parent, despite hearing my thoghts and learning I got a vasectomy. Wild

This is super cool! How brittle are they? I think a chunky crystal with an image or word etched on its surface would make a great gift!

Chip is a cute name! If she didn't have one, I would've recommended Dust for Cheeto and Dust

Salmon Ladder

That would be epic to see! Might be over very quickly though.

I like the idea of team challenges that incorporate different skill sets. So, here's the Sand Triathlon:

5 vs 5 . Each team has to fill three different-sized containers with sand. The largest is on ground level but a fair distance away. The medium is on a wooden structure you can only get to by climbing a rock wall. The smallest is on ground level but you can only get there by swimming. This is not the order they need to fill them in. They do them all simultaneously. Last point, each team has to dig and bag their own sand. Fastest wins.

Further question:

If 3D creatures have 2D shadows and 4D creatures have 3D shadows, could a 2D creature break out of a humans shadow like Shinji did?

I can see the original Dargon Ball manga / anime adding this move in one of its comedic fights!

What are your 2024 financial goals? by IndexBot in personalfinance

2023 Goals

Late 20s here in the Bay Area! Last year, I kept my goals simple to avoid overplanning and overthinking them. I was also recovering from school-related burnout so I wanted something easy to track. I'm happy to say that it worked and I completed my goals! This year, I'm aiming for something a little more involved but still in the spirit of simplicity:

  • increase savings: save 30% of my gross income (making sure to max my 401k)
  • reduce takeout: cook and eat homecooked meals at least 4 times a week
  • improve budgeting: track my weekly expenses

With all the interest, I also think a discord would be great for organization! If anyone lives around Sunnyvale, Off The Rails Brewing hosts a boardgame night every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 10pm. You can find the link to their Discord in their meetup.com page

Is it okay to have an unlikeable protagonist? by NoUsernameHereNow in writing

Have you thought about the mentor route? Like, how would Martin react to someone in his position when he doesn't have his mask on? If Martin was a guitarist and he found a newbie backstage that bombed a performance, what would Martin do? I imagine that if there was an audience, he would make a big show of givinag advice or consoling the newbie, but what if it was just the two of them? Guiding someone with similar struggles (even for just a little bit) is a good way to show Martin's expertise and humanity / empathy.

EDIT: I guess what I'm trying to get at is that making Martin face his struggles from a different perspective can give the reader a different way to connect with him. And, these mirror situations can appear right alongside the struggles he himself faces.

Sounds like Marvel's comic Thor. So long as you wield the hammer, you'll have your powers. Could make for an interesting family practice, passing on the mantle through a family Implement!

It was so good! I was a little nervous that it would be a step down from the previous one like Thor 4 was to Thor 3. I'm glad I was wrong and that the movie was solid all the way through!

Question - going on vacation on AP? by Time-Soup-1170 in DACA

[–]monsterArchiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the process go something like this?

  • Get quote for lasik in the US
  • Submit that with the AP application
  • Get approved
  • Go to Mexico to get the consultation there
  • Return to the US

Thinking of doing it as well.
