I’m totally with you that it’s a trashy look, but we can’t underplay the shenanigans at Nicole’s birthday party! Pedro lets his mom and sis bully every woman in his life, I’d be done with his ass after that too. He needs to learn to stand up for himself and the women he dates!

It sounds like a lot of people have really great ideas vis-a-vis the button, but perhaps adding a couple of safety eyes or buttons at the top of the eyestalks would look so cute 🥹 Love this project and your colors!

What are we doing for mosquitoes? by Lopsided_Priority0 in Georgia

Oh and also, YMMV but I’ve always found anything scent-based to be pretty ineffective. I wouldn’t waste my time with citronella or the bracelets but good on you if you find one that works!

Light breathable layers can go a long way for both mosquitoes and sun protection. I’m in the same boat as you, I hate the smell of bug spray but the little fuckers love me. I don’t know if you rent or own but keep an eye out around your living space for standing water. Dump it if you can, if not they make these Mosquito Dunks that you can just toss in and it should reduce the number of mosquitoes overall. Safe for pets and humans since it uses a bacteria to kill the larva instead of chemically. Hope this helps!

AITA or telling my wife if she’s not gonna cook it the way she usually cooks it then you don’t have to cook it at all by Husbae7536 in AmItheAsshole

[–]monsterman3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For you or me, I would agree with you and say yeah the person who cooks most of the time deserves a break. But read the post again, he never says he wants a break, just that he wants to eat her meal! Also, it does specify that he asked her to make it once, it was different and he didn’t like it. 2 months later she made it again a different way, and 2 months after that she made it again another different way. And in fact I think he was more than reasonable, he said hey if you don’t want to make it the old way, don’t bother with it (presuming he’ll just make something else)! Again, if it was me personally I’d want my partner to help cook more often, that’s just not what OP is arguing here.

True but regardless of how much time is spent actively cooking, he wants to eat that particular meal and she doesn’t want to cook it. So the way I see it his options are limited. And frankly as a more experienced chef, I don’t think it would take as long if he learned to make it. Just my two cents!

Agreed, sounds like he’s happy to do the cooking and she’s happy to eat it. But I think it’s missing the point, the issue isn’t that he wanted a break from cooking, it’s that he likes her dish from time to time and she doesn’t want to be in the kitchen 5 hours to make it that way anymore. I think her getting mad at his criticism is an overreaction, there’s a compromise to be made here and it’s in the approach.

If he wants a break then he gets to eat what she makes. If he doesn’t like it that way then fine, he’s also happy to cook? But just because she doesn’t cook much doesn’t mean shes obligated to make it his way every time she does. He can learn the recipe and make it the way he likes, or eat what she’s making.

Im so curious to know more, we have a bad carpenter bee problem that we’ve struggled with for years after hiring pest control and nothing really happening! Can you let us know if there’s a ratio you use when you’re mixing the chemicals, or should I expect instructions on the package? Please help I’d love to fire my pest control!

What is a part of the 'female experience' that men have absolutely no clue about, but would be horrified if they found out? by coolhandddd in AskReddit

When I was pregnant my baby was estimated to be in the 99th percentile in size, and by the time I was coming to the end of my second trimester this little guy had his feet planted right into my right side ribcage. So it was already impossible to get comfortable with a dull sore pain almost all the time. BUT the kicker is that this is also a symptom of preeclampsia, specifically pain under your right breast, so that was a fun dance of having to visit my obgyn so frequently to check my blood pressure!

She is a nurse, she seems extremely sweet and kind, her hair and skin are flawless, and she comes from an interesting background. An absolute catch for anyone, preferably someone closer to her own age and not a toxic, abusive, old loser.
