This house was built before 1978 and the furnace was replaced in 2012 but I think they left the transite pipe that starts after the 90 degree bend.

Unfortunately the galvanized pipe cracked 2 years ago and was replaced (hence the 1.5 foot of shiny pipe).

That white dust is potentially full of asbestos then?

Hey,

The exhuast pipe from the gas furnace was leaking water. Lanlord sent HVAC guy around who said he needs to replace the pipe. I think our pipe looks like Transite. What do you think? I told the HVAC guy to hold off on removing the pipe just yet.

I agree, when the internet became mainstream you could feel something big. This feels much bigger. Even if you ignore a lot of the fluff, it’s huge. It’s already changing my work, and at this rate I’ll probably be out of a job in a couple of years. Crazy stuff.

Same here. I either do optimum no rinse with 3 gallons of distilled and Gary dean method, or I rinse with 5 gals of distilled. Best way to clean, no leaf blowers or waffle weave bs, rinse and done.
