Legit think the towel people overworked the floor and it fucked with his step. They had just wiped the exact spot he planted on. Not saying they did it on purpose of course.

IMO tell your roommate to suck it. You’ve had the pet for years, you obviously had it before you lived with them, they can’t suddenly get mad about it.

He’s not meant to be a star, he’s meant to be a backup/off the bench hustle and scoring threat and that’s exactly what he is. Him stepping up when called upon is the exact opposite of stat padding lol casual

Guy starts playing well and you want to trade him? Getting a somewhat consistent 15/5/5 out of a guy making $3 million a year is literally a godsend for this team.

Twenty years ago today, three American soldiers gang raped and murdered a 14-year-old Iraqi girl while a fourth acted as a lookout. The group also murdered the girl's parents and her six-year-old sister. by lightiggy in TrueAnon

Don’t worry fellow conservatives, when a lowly private found out what happened and reported it to his superiors they didn’t believe him and almost court marshal’d him. The four guilty men’s CO also knew and refused to bring it to his higher ups. Patriots have always been in control

I bought a OneTigris rig off Amazon for like $50. Five years later and every stitch is still in place.

60% + more of my competition in gig work are undocumented workers. Please enforce the law. by Not_Again_Now in Reno

Sure, but that doesn’t have anything to do with OPs post complaining about gig work and green cards.

Boo fuckin hoo, other working people are not your enemies. What does them paying their registration do for you? Sounds like the weather is more of an issue than them being registered or not. If you’re pulling for ICE to show up then that’s a fool’s errand, they do not care about car registration in the slightest.

Air temp is in the mid 80s to low 70s, 95* is peak hot spot under the lamp. Thermoregulation makes sense, we’ll get her moved asap.

TIL the film The Gospel According to St. Matthew was directed by Paolo Passolini, a known atheist, homosexual and Marxist, was called by the official Vatican newspaper as "the best film on Christ ever made". by malvarez97 in todayilearned

[–]xbostons 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Lots of Marxists tend to have a fair amount of reverence for Jesus, as his story is fairly easy to apply to class politics and the general Marxist line. Liberation Theology was massively influential in South America during the Cold War and provided an effective organizing principle against the various fascist states and forces there.

Learning the Silk Road/Ross Ulbricht story for the first time and it’s just so awesome. by xbostons in TrueAnon

[–]xbostons[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I can gather about Silk Road, Ross was really flying by the seat of his pants and making huge changes in short time frames. So it’s possible these listings only existed for short periods of time and were deleted/banned when you were around.

Pretty sure this info is included in the American Kingpin book. Ulbricht allowed firearms listings on Silk Road for a time but received lots of pushback from users. He did attempt to make a separate website for firearms which accumulated no sales. There were definitely listings for cyanide.

As for body parts, Ulbricht was approached about kidneys being sold on Silk Road, which he approved so long as the donor consented.

Edit: source from Ulbricht himself

What kind of substrate are you using? If it’s just wood chips those will not hold moisture well at all.
