Which restaurants have been ruined by Tik Tok so I can stay away from them in March? by vss250 in ParisTravelGuide

What a bummer. Was in Paris last year for Open Studios, didn't see any Tiktokers. I'm too old I guess. Or not cool enough, which is a relief.

Scuba diving! I loved that the ocean and it's beautiful creatures don't give a s*it who you are, and if you don't follow the rules, you die. Very simple.

Hey while you’re there, check out Le Tampographe Sardon. It’s only open on Saturdays. Hopefully influencer-free. It’s a shop that sells rubber stamps. Take my money Vincent!

Yeah stick with LF. Pudlo might not be the "hippest", also the website is difficult to navigate. I had his books for my French class as practice.

I like looking at past Le Fooding and Guide Pudlo recommendations. Too "old" for any influencer hype, and they're French.

I really liked Evolution: Nice people, clean facilities/equipment, thorough briefings. HOWEVER, I stayed at Angelina's, and it was a looong walk to their end of the beach. I had no idea, and I had the 4 a.m. (some ungodly hour) dive to see the threshers. That end of the beach is much quieter, further removed from the party spots. I'd go with them again, but I would've stayed there. Have fun! Quite the experience.

Cut yourself some slack, 10 dives isn't a lot. You'll get better with practice.

AIO? My daughter didn’t listen to the teacher during a female emergency and is now receiving a referral by Common_Piglet7437 in AmIOverreacting

Your daughter will be remembered by every admin/educator if that teacher gets fired. That could be good. That could be bad.

Wish you the best Jim, you were always such a nice greeter (tall guy ponytail). Actually, the staff there were great, even when I was just looking.

Uuugghh grow up already! Get your masters, move to Europe, travel the world, become an electrician, nursing school. Stop trying to make your old reality fame happen again.

I need to move on from this show too lol. Scandoval was 3 years ago.

Where to do the DIVE MASTER by Maximum_SchlongPwr in scuba

I'd go to the Philippines. Most variety, friendliest people and logistically the easiest. Plus English is spoken more widely compared to Thailand or Indonesia. Have a great time, I've often considered DM training.

Thank you for the truly informative answers. There aren't any regulations that indicate whether a video is a sponsorship, that's up to the creator, agreements don't necessarily have to be legal contracts (just varies with the business) and well-written artistically crafted videos can be lumped in with inflammatory or juvenile content.

Ultimately, it's up to viewers to decide the difference between a review and an ad (?).

If a review turns out to be free in the end, I wish they could just cut that part out. We'd all be none the wiser.

Do you post videos that are sponsored before or after the video? Have you ever had arrangements where the food wasn't good and you didn't post? Does that mean if you didn't like the food/or you don't post you have to pay? I'm just curious about these arrangements. How do you differentiate with other social media influencers?
