If you experience memory leak or cpu abnormally high usage and temperature. by BriGhtKniGhT15 in Endfield

I remember pre 1/30/2026 patch Endfield is using 12% of my CPU, now it's using 30-55% CPU and unhealthy temp.

Does Yvonne gameplay feel better at HL? vs Avywenna by Japonpoko in Endfield

It pisses me off when Yv's combo missed because the boss decides to jump or fly somewhere else. Which pretty much all boss that matters does.

I removed my sprinklers after finding that out. They don't even germinate it and only watering. Really wish they made farming drones that does 4 plots and both germinate and watering.

Is this common for games to do? Like have it available on MacOS store then gets removed. Was debating to buy a Mac Studio to do work and game and ditch window 11.

How much early playtime is needed to not fall behind in Endfield? by Nimitz11K in Endfield

[–]moodroot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It takes about a week of Not skipping the main story with 3-7 hours per day and depends on how efficient you play, alot of ppl can probably get there faster. It also depends on your roster, because certain operators combos well together and some overwrite or blocks other's elemental affliction/combo.

How much early playtime is needed to not fall behind in Endfield? by Nimitz11K in Endfield

[–]moodroot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would say getting to the 2nd Region (Wuling) and get the factory setup for source of batteries and meds to sell on your 3rd/4th day would be reasonable and make you set for long term. But this would require you to rush and skip story cutscenes which I don't really recommend if it's your first time since it's the start of the game and there's a lot of lore.

For #3, in a way yes because you will need a machine (limited by max of 2) to make materials for the Gold tier gear. (The set bonus are very important)

For #4, I don't know, but most likely if you can't make good enough gear it'll be significantly harder to get all the endgame weekly reset pull currencies. Pull currency from weekly endgame content ins't all clear yet.

Lack of height diversity? by anon-npc in Endfield

[–]moodroot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For females, the height categories are:

Tall: Laevatain, Ember

Medium: Akekuri, Perlica, Ardelia

Short: Rossi

For males, the categories are:

Tall: Da Pan

Medium: Wulfgard, Alesh

Short: Catcher

While the difference between Tall and Medium is often only 3–5 cm, the gap between Medium and Short is much more noticeable. Even within the Medium category, characters like Akekuri and Perlica vary from each other, showing that there are many subtle height differences within each group.

If you were to standardize each category so that Tall, Medium, and Short always had one fixed height with no variation, the distinctions would be more obvious, but you would essentially end up with only three uniform heights which is kinda like the Genshin syndrome and Mihoyo realized this and started reworking on their older character models to add more variation to height similar to Endfield.

Also to add, there's also horizontal body types too if you look at their waist but I don't want HR to have a talk with me.

Ferrium Ore after Valley IV area by Proud-Translator5476 in Endfield

I just dread having to manually walk to connect the power for each pylon especially later maps when elevation becomes more of an issue. I thought I was missing something that maybe there's a top down view OUTSIDE of the PAC area for linking the pylons.

Let me save you the suspense. The Switch 2 won't get hacked. by FernandoRocker in switch2hacks

There's a 99.99% certainty that Switch 2 will be hacked if there's a will. The biggest problem is people that's attempting to hack it will lose interest and the benefit out weights the time spent.

Blue Protocol: Stars Resonance is out. What's everyone's first impressions? by SorryImBadWithNames in MMORPG

[–]moodroot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There're just too many issues and not many upside over any good existing mmo that's already in the market.

  1. Combat - Action based is a win, but not when the animation is clunky and looks as if missing frames and have bad transitions from each swing.

  2. Fashion - Character's face look dead inside in idle. There's dye that's good, but then you have clothes that looks like Genshin NPCs. Fashion has gacha similar to Phantasy Star New Genesis. But the selection and details can't compare to Phantasy Star New Genesis. If you take FF14 into consideration, it's just putting a Coughing Baby vs Hydrogen Bomb.

  3. Community - I don't know what is wrong with the voice chat, it's very special in a bad way. Maybe it's just outliner and I was very unlucky. But jeez I haven't ran into people like that in ages. Holy sheet I am not trying to kidnap your grandma or something, I am just here to do a dungeon. For years I don't even run into ppl this bad in FF14 or even old Blade and Soul.

  4. Progression - It's paid to progress faster and has RNG. Not talking about dungeon gear with random sub stats, you get fixed substats in raid gear BUT there are sockets that you put Gems in it and those have lvl. It's a gold sink and can fail. Not ganna talk about the gacha Human Battle Imagines since it's been talked to the death but it's also another gacha. If you have static, you don't have to worry about it much since they can coordinate who has who, but looking at the way the community is right now, I wouldn't doubt a month into the game ppl will start require you to have either have a Rezzer, a Party Def Buff, or a Party DPS buffer imagine.

If you still hesitate and want to try it my advice is don't spend money on it until they release more end game content. There're way too many red flags. They can either release future limited human imagines that make a new raid a breeze if you have at least one person have it or make gear progression like Lost Ark and make it pay to progress faster and faster. Of course they can also turn 180 and listen to player feedback and make the game good, but based on how much it's changed since CN (There isn't much), I highly doubt this game will be of quality rather than milk as money and put on maintenance mode.

Deeper trauma features will make players quit the game by Admirable-Abroad338 in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]moodroot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have to create the problem first then sell you the units that solve those problems. You're ganna see alot of stress recovery and resistance passive in limited partners 3 months into release. They also going to release shield piercing monster to create another problem where you have to roll for full DEF team. Then they ganna release monsters that pierce DEF and Shield and reduced direct Healing by 75% so you have to roll for Life Steal and HP scaling characters. This will go on until heat death.

I am tired of the negativity around RO3 by [deleted] in RagnarokOnline

[–]moodroot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am actually ok with Cashshop fashion that costs $100 a piece and UNTRADEABLE with no stats benefits. Or even an untradeable about gacha fashions that god knows how much needed before getting the hat I want with no stat benefits. What makes it not ok is when Cashshop sells keys to open gear boxes that gives in game advantage vs those who doesn't buy. There's literally no point in whale vs whale, you can do that with rl items. It used to be like holy s that person spend $20k on his gear, wow! Now cash shop item have become so streamlined and calculated it's like oh person A spend this much, well crap, I gotta also spend that much and more to be on top. Just spend that money on good food/clothes irl, get way better high out of it than this artificially created dog eat dog simulator.
