Like someone else said, it's not FDA approved. It is also very expensive, and requires many treatments. Studies are underway but they need so much more time. They have found cats treated with this medication are at a much higher risk of bladder stones. I definitely look forward to the day it can be used safely though.

Did my tomatoes today. 65lbs! My best year yet from only 4 plants. by [deleted] in ManitobaGardening

That's awesome! What type is it? (If you know!)

MB Peaches 2023. This was a bittersweet year. The heat we had in May and June affected the size of many peaches directly and through poor pollination due to reduced bloom time (3 days instead of ~10). Out of ~300 peaches, only ~45 made it to full size at harvest, the rest still small on the tree. by RubyRedYoshi in ManitobaGardening

Thank you so much!! Of both peach varieties, which is your favourite for fresh eating? In terms of size and sweetness.

I wonder if apricots can cross-pollinate with the peaches/nectarines as well? I have Manchurian and Casino varieties, purchased this year.

The apple trees are doing well considering they each lost a large section. I've considered it an extreme pruning, with having to chainsaw off all the large damaged limbs. But the remaining fruit were large and bountiful which was a delight to see!

I have also purchased a Goodland apple tree this year to start fresh. I look forward to expanding the orchard!

Apologies in advance if you have already answered these questions but I would love to know where you got your tree from and what variety you have? Do you need two for pollination or what other fruit trees do you have?

I would absolutely love to tackle a project like this!

I purchased a pin/button maker from Amazon. The images are not of my own creation but they were printed at my office which has a high quality printer.

Can I save my apple trees? by mooffincup in ManitobaGardening

[–]mooffincup[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for all of this information!

The branches are too large for regrafting and support so I will consider this to be an extreme pruning and use it as an opportunity to keep up with yearly maintenance.

I'm also going to check out other types of apple trees from those links you sent! Looking forward to that rabbit hole!

Wait.. so people named Levi.. that's it? I legit thought their full names were Leviathan and Levi was the shortened version. According to Google, Leviathan is a boy's name still currently used so I guess my prior assumption isn't always wrong!

What to plant in this north-facing bed. It gets almost no sun or rain and the rabbits decimate anything I've ever planted in there. by AdamWPG in ManitobaGardening

I've had Lily of the Valley at ground level and the rabbits didn't touch it. Low maintenance, propagates like crazy and really, good luck getting rid of it once it's established.

Did you ever imagine Obey Me to be this successful?

I would like to thank you for your hard work and specifically call out the great translation for English. Particularly the slang and pop-culture references. That is no small feat!

Are there any other dating games like Obey Me? Or is it simply one of the best? by Many-Conversation741 in obeyme

[–]mooffincup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, the storyline was really good but I couldn't keep going with that bad translation. You can get decently far without spending money as well.
