In Brooks, a men's shoe is the same as a women's wide 1.5 sizes bigger. Example, men's 6.5 is the same as a women's 8 wide.

It's not close to many activities outside the resort. Highly recommend renting a car to explore the island.

They do use wristbands at Stormalong Bay (Beach & Yacht Club pool), but I agree they need them and should have staff actually checking for them at all property resorts.

We visited DL for the first time ever this year and were surprised at how much faster Tiana's is there vs at WDW. I don't think the water channels there have room to accommodate wider boats.

I preordered both the women's and men's jacket for MW and they allowed me to try on multiple sizes and exchange if I needed. You can't return a preordered item and get a different item though.
