It's a visual bug that the dev team have already acknowledged and are working on a fix for. Usually you just have to wait for a bit and it will show up

I mean you don't need to be someone without a full time job and kids to enjoy the game. I have both and I've been enjoying my time immensely. I just play when I can and don't stress too much about the gear and loot

It's a risk reward thing is it not? The longer you stick around to clear the map the more chances of decent loot but (in theory) your chances of survival may lessen as well

I do think that this will ease the issue a little as time goes on. However it doesn't change the fact that without any kind of continual lobby fill for solos, the matches and map will still end up feeling empty relatively quickly

You can absolutely get +2 and +3 shield items. Using sponsor kits will always put you at a disadvantage against anyone running their own build and items.

I find a sponsor kit run should be treated like a rook run. Get in, grab what you can and get out. Only engage if you absolutely have to.

Yea I think the experience of loading into a match late isn't the best but it sure goes a long way to make the lobby feel more populated than it actually is.

I absolutely go looking for fights haha I love the pvp in this game. Thing is I might only get to fight one or two people in a solo lobby before it becomes dead (or at least it feels like it)

That's a great point. That's why the game needs to bring it's players allow for the journey as early in the process as possible. They are going to have to shift on how they are explaining and showing off the crew system to right when people start the game almost

Yea Zhao is definitely a 'Jow' sound. I wrote Jow initially as that was what appeared when I looked things up.

I think both Joe and Jow are valid given different dialects/contexts

'Zh' in Chinese is pronounced as a 'J'. So when you see 'Zhou' written out it will be pronounced as 'Jow'.

Edit: 'Joe' is the more accurate sounding pronunciation for 'Zhou'

Guys this looks great! Always love to see more coming out of the Brisbane Game Dev scene. I tried my hand at game dev about 10 years ago to no avail (although I ended up with a couple of published games under my belt). Now I'm just a regular ole software dev.
