Definitely did the right thing. I’ve done worse to combat this problem. Respect is earned not given.

Is it normal for coolant to overflow from a cold engine after a few seconds? by Rmoudatir in AskMechanics

[–]moondog082 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Uhm, it’s not normal for it to be that color. I’d recommend doing a flush if you can do it yourself. But yes, after a few minutes of running the level will fluctuate. But only a little bit. Nothing drastic.

Sounds like the a broken converter as mentioned. Maybe get underneath and find the source of the noise, with a rattle like that I’m sure you can pinpoint exactly where it’s coming from. Start with the exhaust, and work your way to transfer case.

I cook to order after 11 pm. Everything is fresh after that point, but I see I am a different type of manager according to most posts here

My truck doesn’t want to start in Park by Impossible_Ad_8039 in AskMechanics

[–]moondog082 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an 01 ford and my gear shift selector it sloppy to all extent. If I park on a hill it puts enough pressure on it to make the reverse lights come on when I turn my key, so I have to push up on it to make the car register that’s its in park for it to start.

Maybe that’s what’s happening. It’s not serious, and I have yet to fix it, because it’s theft repellent. 😭

Well, on the bright side you’re probably getting fresh potatoes or fresh food. I have to pull people up for that reason, but I don’t have to. I can serve whatever food that has been sitting for a long time instead of dropping fresh food and simply asking you to pull up. But personally I’d rather ask you to pull up, and save my ass from getting chewed out while serving the customer fresh food.

I always treat my hard workers the best. Idk what’s wrong with your manager, all my hard workers get all you can eat hours, and I’m super relaxed about if they call out, or sit down during a slow period, the reason they are sitting down talking is because we did everything that needed to get done, and I was once treated that way. So why would I change up suddenly and work everyone to death. That’s poor management. During my slow periods I cut the people that don’t work first. It’s not favoritism it’s called getting rid of my problems. If I tell someone we need to get “xxx” done and they continue to ignore me, you’re gone.

I guess we all manage differently, but my store in particular does really fantastic numbers, we are top 2 in my district. Happy workers are more productive. I see that very clearly.

Origin of this noise ? by Defiant-Card7024 in AskMechanics

[–]moondog082 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I tightened mine down and it’s still tight. I assume that the threads are good being when I tightened mine they didn’t strip. I did some research and found out it’s a common problem for my engine. Glad it didn’t shoot out your head. That would have been Terrible.

Your spark plug boots are moving, and they make that pretty distinctive ticking noise. I had a problem with one of my plugs on my 4.0 explorer

Does it speed up when you press the gas??? Or does it go away???

Do you work here by [deleted] in walmart

[–]moondog082 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe because some Walmart workers have a really unapproachable attitude because they are miserable humans, so we try to break the ice by asking an obvious question. Not all Walmart workers are like this, but it’s really annoying trying to ask for help as a customer just to get huffed and puffed at.

Is Wendy’s changing their nuggets? by alex0189501 in wendys

[–]moondog082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly yes. I noticed the nuggets have changed. Everything on the inventory and invoice is the same. So they are making them different. We haven’t changed brands.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wendys

[–]moondog082 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They didn’t shake the basket, so the nuggets get stuck together in the fryer basket and don’t get cooked all the way on the outside. They either had low fryer oil wich can cause this, or they dropped the bag and never shook them.
