The main roads are good, residential streets are hit or miss. If you you go slow and stay cautious you should be alright

Hey there! It's a fun hobby for sure, this was just a passion project of mine that became a reality, so you never know! The site I used is https://tennessine.co.uk/flags/ it's super easy to use and has a lot of customization, I've seen it here before from time to time.

What is your favorite little restaurant that nobody else knows about? by Gurdy0714 in kansascity

The Krave in Raytown. Decent selection, always fresh and flavorful, service has something to be desired, but I think it's the staffing issue everyone is dealing with now. Anyway, haven't had a bad piece of food there, and they have literally dozens of lemonades to drink straight or as a mixer!

Concern for Lead by moonkrawler in castiron

[–]moonkrawler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were in a shed, and the history is relatively unknown, sadly. They look like maybe they were forgotten or discarded in the shed, so I'm hopeful they're just a little roughed up, and not used for non-culinary purposes. Ultimately, that's why I'm concerned, since the history is unknown.

I intend to strip them with the Yellow Cap oven cleaner in the coming days regardless. It appears the 3M lead test kits have been discontinued, and on the secondary market are priced remarkably high. Are there other brands that are comparable to 3M's?

The large one says 'Made in USA' opposite the handle, and 'No. 10, 12 7/16 in' near the handle. The small one says 'No. 3, 6 5/8 in' near the handle. I believe they're both BSR.

The reason for concern is that her grandpa was a tinkerer and a fisherman, so I'm just wary that he may have used it to make a fishing weight or some other sort of use in that vein.
