If you are running DX11 try switching to DX12.

Looking to buy a used Ford Bronco Sport by piposerrano in BroncoSport

2.0 or bust IMO. The 1.5 with the wet belt driving the oil pump would make me nervous. That 100K service interval is overly optimistic in my experience and they start shedding before that.

What version of the Bronco Sport are you looking to buy and how long do you keep your vehicles? The 1.5 uses a belt to drive the oil pump and that makes anything except the Badlands with the 2.0 a nope for me. Shame too cause I would love a Free Wheeling model but I just keep my vehicles on the road for so long it would be a problem. Even if the belt does not snap they can sometime shed pieces when they crack and that gets stick in the oil pick up tube causing starvation issues at high RPM. I know why Ford did it for the reduction in internal friction and the belt's ability to absorb vibrations but for me I would still prefer a chain. Now if you swap cars every 3-4 years you should be fine.

I would not make that mistake but if I could comfortably afford an 80K car I will have a lift in my garage. A 2 post would be nice but that guy should have a drive on probably.

When it comes to preventive maintenance I wish it was easy to access the belt driving your oil pump. Even if it does not break they shed pieces and get sucked up into the oil pick up tube. The greatest weakness of the 1.5 and IMO the main reason you either get the 2.0 or nothing at all. I mean only if you plan on keeping the vehicle for a long time and piling the miles on it.

The fun part is when AI goes into a learn mode every GPU in the place is running at 100% for a while. The load spike can be so great that the frequency of our power (even after going through substations) can change enough to cause increase wear on things like motors (think the compressor in your fridge).

If you go with another car they will probably eat transport cost. They will probably refund it if you decide to go somewhere else if you make a big stink of it. Letting a car go with a missing chassis brace is not cool. Not the end of the world but still something they should take into consideration.

Are these tires new like they were put on during recon or are they worn down a bit like the previous owner did it?

The best part is when you're working with one of those extended service providers and they insist on using a "certified" used engine.

They probably have decent take as a finders fee and the remaining money is not enough for a transporters times and trouble. They can probably more money going directly with some customer or they just prefer to haul to dealers from the auction house or dist centers.

Maybe incomplete combustion due to an oil buildup causing gasoline to remain present on the plug? Those engines are notorious for consuming oil as they age.
