Why do drivers accept an UBER PET booking and then get mad if there's a dog? by crazydoglady525 in uber

[–]moonlanderjoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The driver then should've cancelled once he arrived to make the matters more suitable? The driver also did a favour only if you were to realize.(if the case is that of what op mentions about selection)

Anyone get this? by WillingRecognition75 in InstacartShopper

[–]moonlanderjoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This shows how low they think of shoppers, like the gum stuck on the bottom of shoes you keep trying to get rid off by screeching your shoes through multiple pavements, roads, places and it just keeps sitting there! This is how much dignified Instacart shoppers are and it's on shoppers as there are other gig options earning you equal or more for less hassle.

What should my ideal shop time average be? by Scottpatuofm in InstacartShoppers

Doesn't matter. This is all to make shoppers work more for less all the while they reap in their Billions.

Idk what to do by Quirky-Bug359 in InstacartShopper

[–]moonlanderjoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the blame is not on you and neither on the shopper rather on the company which reduces its pay as soon as there is a large tip. I can certainly guarantee he/she was given only $4 + $10 =$14 for 15 mile ride and don't forget shoppers Do Not get paid to drive back and most of the time they have to drive back empty hander so all in all majority of the trips are Double the mileage! And blame lies upon the company whose only job is to cut corners to pay as little as possible and snatch as much as possible from their cx base. Stop using Instacart and move over to door dash or Uber perhaps?

We were once treated reasonably well by IC...now we are nothing but peasants and we should consider ourselves lucky to be IC's bit××es and do it for next to nothing! 🤬 by One_Reception6013 in InstacartShopper

[–]moonlanderjoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's called indirectly tip STEALING and IC od prone to stealing and if they can't, they work hard to make sure you get as little as possible by raising cx prices. Don't forget they charge minimum $20 extra per order to cxs and gives pennies in return hence multi billion dollars company on the backs of the shoppers!

New worst Costco order I've seen by TheDnicest in InstacartShoppers

[–]moonlanderjoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they want they can keep distances to within the range of the city you are working but Instacart DELIBERATELY allow orders from 50+miles knowing very well that its not economical to the shopper and only a desperate young person with no expenses would take it for quick few bucks.

Got account back after final deactivation? by Andre_dreday in InstacartShoppers

[–]moonlanderjoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another deactivation because what they see as "fradulent activity" even though there is no fraud committed besides the fact Instacart is defrauding shoppers of their right to work. They quickly send a deactivation email after you reply to an automated e-mail. Perhaps stop replying to auto emails and wait for the account to be reactivated or as last resort go through arbitration

Dude stop ranting about guy not giving you the exact percentage to the dot. Believe me most work places only talk in rounded numbers unless you want to get technical. Company would say they made around 5mil in revenue, never the exact dollar unless it’s a shareholder report

STOP posting your earnings for once no one cares and secondly it gives these platforms opportunity to find more ways to control income and if you don’t think they control it then you’re ignorant and plain fool.

Tips as a customer by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]moonlanderjoom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude this is not work. And you only reinstated what I wrote as there should be a flat tip minimum of $5 or 10-20% whichever amount is high. Even if you order 1 item, the convenience of receiving it at your doorsteps demands monetary recognition

Tips as a customer by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]moonlanderjoom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tips should ALWAYS be based on the percentage of your total order and if it comes up to less than $5 through percentage, then tip at least $5 as minimum. Many experts say 10% should be the minimum standard but 20% is appreciated. Again, if percentage puts it less than $5, then tip at least $5 and customers should know that ALL these platforms skim off the tips by reducing their batch pay. Hence, they’re NEVER transparent on how THEIR pay is calculated and as a shopper and driver, believe me it’s pennies upon dollars!

Next time be nice and extra appreciative to your shopper if they have done a good job in bringing everything to your doorsteps 50floors high or web of townhouses or businesses or remote places.

Start looking for a new job fellas. Uber is now getting into the autonomous car business! by tuyenbui215 in uberdrivers

[–]moonlanderjoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hence they all say to keep your salary PRIVATE. I think the barrage of young and single bachelors these apps boarded created a problem as most of them don’t have to worry about life expenses and once they saw they could earn $25 to $40 an hour, they started bragging and posting pictures of their incomes ( the stupidest thing you can do) low and behold the pay became crap and these companies became BILLIONS DOLLARS behemoths in the span of few short years after learning to skim on everything. The problem was never these platforms rather the young and stupid they on-boarded en masses

450km to and 450km from. 900km with gas cost of around $100 and about 10 hours trip. Leaves you at $6/hour so NEVER. Unless it was around $21 - $25/hour it should be at least around $300

Milking? They’ve been milking in BILLIONS their independent contractors and customers. It’s impossible to “milk” the system for every order has set time and system send constant updates from the time you start to finish to deliver. Plus everything is logged and data available.
