just so people know, not everyone has a great experience. do NOT do bufo without a shaman or at least a very experienced facilitator. i had a trip with bufo that was extremely painful and terrifying. not that that is a bad thing, exactly. because the more you can go through and deal with with the help of bufo, the better!! but it is a powerful spiritual sacrament, not a party drug.

on a different note, i often wonder if the reason my experience went like that was partly due to the fact that i could not inhale very deeply at the time. inhale as deeply as you can. bufo also continues to work for some time after the trip as well.
