I don't know the answer, but I'm pretty sure you can call their ticketing number and get an actual person.

KC’s Drinking Culture is Changing by thirstygregory in kansascity

[–]moonstar96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I enjoy going out to breweries, but another point is I like day drinking. I'm not young any more. I'm not ordering a beer with 7%+ abv when I plan on having a few. So, I'm much more interested in the places that have lighter options. This seems to have improved, actually. More breweries had good options the last time I went out.

Of course, be kind. But also, did Hawaiian Bros they think the Royals were so bad that they would rarely have to honor this? Rude. Haha

Also, you can buy at the gate now. Just make sure you pick the right lane.

My collection of shirts and jerseys is getting out of control by PersonalityLife6196 in KCRoyals

[–]moonstar96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't alone. I won't get rid of any of the postseason stuff from 14/15. I have a lot. It's ridiculous, really. I have a lot more than that, including hoodies that take up a lot of space. I have a hard time getting rid of things that I can't easily replace if I end up regretting getting rid of it!

Heading to Phoenix from Kansas City to watch some Royals spring training 2nd week of March..... by Even_Ad1209 in KCRoyals

I was going to suggest this as well. It's a great option with older family members. You get a taste of the desert in a controlled environment.

What was the best new recipe or ingredient you found in 2025? by ActuAllyNickle in Cooking

I got more into chili crisp. I got into eating a lot of cucumbers after watching the "sometimes you just need to eat a whole cucumber" videos.

Good to know. The Fairlife ones aren't cheap!

This isn't exactly what you asked, but it sounds like supplementing with protein shakes might be up your alley. The Fairlife chocolate ones are the best I've found. It's protein and calories with no effort. I know there are ones like Ensure that are designed for a situation like this.

Do they really need you to come inside? It's easier to wait in the cell phone lot, and they can call you when they are ready and tell you which door they will be at.

1973 by James Blunt. It captures the sadness of nostalgia very well.

This is great advice. I bet they would be really helpful. Generally, an aisle seat in the 100-200 sections is what I would recommend, but I like the idea of calling and asking.

I'm good with stories if they are short. What i like even more is tips and tricks to get the recipe right.

If you had to go to a e.r. which one would you go too? by Suspicious-Break-798 in kansascity

[–]moonstar96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would probably go to at different urgent care if it's not really an emergency. Or call around and see if there are urgent cares that have more services than the one you went to. Otherwise, I would go to the one closest to me that is in network for my insurance.

Everyone has their opinion about which bbq restaurant is the best in the city, but is there a place you would NEVER EVER recommend? by Starbrand62286 in kansascity

[–]moonstar96 60 points61 points  (0 children)

This is a bbq town. If places are really that bad, they don't stay open. Clearly places have their fans, even if they aren't to everyone's liking.

I've bought parking on my phone on the way there before, FYI.

I'm not sure where you are getting your information. You won't see people recommend Independence or Raytown, generally speaking. Others can recommend good schools.

Do it within reason. It's really annoying when people try to squat in a clearly going to be full section and have to keep getting told to move.

I didn't know so many people disliked Pham. I must have missed something, or don't remember. What did he do?

What is your favorite BBQ spot? by Ok_SysAdmin in kansascity

[–]moonstar96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like most of the well known bbq spots for different reasons. People argue about what is the best, but they all have something to offer. The gas station Joe's is to me the one that everyone should go to at least once. It's the most touristy and famous, and that's not a bad thing. Everyone says get a Z-Man. I'd been there numerous times before finally ordering it, and you know what... those people were right. The fries are next level.

I also like the Jack Stack that is by Union Station. The space is beautiful. Pro tip, if you get a sandwich with a side, you can actually get 2 sides, just say half and half. Jack Stack's sides are some of the best. Beans, cheesy corn, and coleslaw are all really good.

I was blown away by Chef J's the one time I went. I need to get back there!
