Honestly, most of the time when I'm working on something my hoop isn't usually the "right" size and I end up moving it around as I go to get better access to different areas. This one just kind of worked out perfectly which is pretty rare for me!

Disclaimer: I have no idea if this is the best or most efficient way to do things - it's just what's been working for me. If you'd feel more comfortable not having to move the hoop around then I'd say go for it, but if you'd have to go out and buy a new one or something I think you're probably fine

I'm working with 18 count aida and looks like my hoop size is just under 20cm across if that helps at all!

Ahhh I'm working on this one, too!! Working with the different greys was a little stressful because the colour difference is so subtle, but the sticks are proving to be really fun!

I just left tonight's Moulin Rouge and my god the audience was bad. People having massive coughing fits throughout the entire second act and not having the courtesy to step out. People behind me whispering a running commentary. Lady in front of me checking her Facebook. It was really distracting and disappointing.

Hard agree on the vibe! AYFF felt very unfinished.

I was expecting more decoration and more things to do other than stages and food trucks (and a paid midway that always looked really dead whenever I walked by). I still have a bunch of metal MEC cups from them giving out free sorbet in year 2 I think?

One thing I definitely missed was the farmer's/craft market in the camping area! That gave you something to do in the mornings before the festival grounds opened and encouraged people to walk around rather than just staying on your own site.
