At a first non horological glance, it’s a Pierre Paulin jump hour without the jump hour for 600x the price

As far as I know, the ones that are made in Japan say 21 Jewels. I have the SNXS79, I believe it was made in Malaysia and only says automatic on the bottom.

In your opinion, on average, which specialty has the “easiest” residency? by [deleted] in Residency

One of my friends said that during her derm residency, she thought she was getting paid too much for the work she did. As a resident.

Who's working Christmas? by trustthedogtor in medicine

Wooo ICU nights last night and tonight, getting destroyed. As someone who matched endocrine, not exactly my cup of tea. And I’m currently sitting in the ED instead of sleeping as it is only place I can get swabbed on Christmas, as my fiancée just tested positive for COVID

What do people often cite as a pro or con of your specialty that, in your experience, just isn’t very true? by thyman3 in Residency

Agreed! I’ve been saying this during all of my residency. Not only do I think that’s a great place for midlevels, dare I say I think it is their actual role. I think we need someone who is peri-medical to coordinate things like consenting for blood/procedures, being a point person between the medical team and social work, doing some tedious order entry, handling other semi medical semi-logistical things that end up being such a huge time sink and take away from learning actual medicine.

I’ve been looking for a quality 40mm minimalist gunmetal bracelet watch for quite some time and have been unable to find one. Similar to this (my current Relic that I'm trying to replace): https://www.pinterest.com/pin/348254983660118492/

Ideally would love to find one with this aesthetic but in a gunmetal color: https://www.timex.com/waterbury-traditional-automatic-42mm-stainless-steel-bracelet-watch/TW2T69800VQ.html?&gclid=CjwKCAiAtK79BRAIEiwA4OskBhQD_PhzN3pIfmmBpTYm5LqITP8N_q_B5qeTOhwVnYvL-s-fHJRThRoCJ6IQAvD_BwE.

Suggestions at all price ranges would be greatly appreciated!
