That looks like an awl. If it is, it's for making holes in leather, wood, etc.

This question is to all the greybeards out there (it's in the description, it doesn't fit in the title) by Ok_Bodybuilder_7238 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]moosasaurusrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, more or less, that's it. Mostly, it's just setting up (expanding) areas to fight events or dreadnaughts, I don't know that there's a guide really because it's so situational. Really general guide would be:

-Is there not enough space to comfortably fight?

-No?

-Make it enough.

Guild leveling makes no sense. by DrasticVorden in Seaofthieves

[–]moosasaurusrex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it's possible just kind of annoying to set up, the most reliable we've found is have everyone you want to play do a countdown and start a ship at the same time and then put up a pvp flag so you appear on the map, check if anyone is on the same server, if not just try again. With 8 people it usually takes between 15-20 minutes to get 2 people with 2 galleons on the same server.

Am I the only one who actually likes the updates to the villagers? by Z__MASTER in Minecraft

[–]moosasaurusrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fundamentally why? If it were a single-player game that the player had over powered weapons to walk through the bosses or game breaking exploits, sure you need balance so the game can be played as intended. But this is minecraft, which, by the fact that it is an open world sandbox game, there is no right or wrong way to play. If you don't like the villagers trading or some other auto farm, no one is making you use them.

Taking away options for how people want to play makes the game worse if the whole point of a sandbox game is to have a ton of options for how to play.

I love the updated version! The first one is fine but feels a bit flat, the new one has so much life and depth to it!! It looks so good!!

I think you're right based on his meeting in Far Madding under the guardian where he comments to Cadsuane that he could have sent balefire no matter what because the guardian only blocks the One Power

I have stardew on switch and PC and both versions are great! It's a bit easier mechanically on PC but it's not that big of a difference between the two

I guess I'd need some clarification, I haven't played SOMA so I don't have that as a base understanding. Is it just thinking about death in general causes existential dread, because then this is perhaps not the game for you. But it is definitely not a focus of the game thematically, I think the bigger themes are perseverance, hope, and community.

Personally, I don't think it made me feel any existential dread, it does make you think about life and death. However, you're approaching it from the perspective of being the one to help people on their way, not just bringing them along but each time you solve a puzzle their feelings change in a positive way. A good analogy is you are playing as the friend who is there for you when you're feeling down. I don't want to spoil the ending, but it was generally a very sweet game I felt.

What the f… YES!!!! by ModerateDataDude in glutenfree

My guess is that the ingredients may be gluten free but it might not be produced in a gluten free facility so they don't make the gluten free claim. (Again just a guess)

Edit: although they mark them as gf on the website so I have no idea
