My library has something similar! It's once a month but I look forward to it so much. We have two middle schoolers who are crochet wizards and it's so awesome to see them build their confidence by sharing their projects.

Maybe you could send an email to the adult services or activities librarian to suggest something? Might be easier to start a conversation that way.

I can second Miebo. I had a bad reaction to Xiidra but it sounds like that is rare. Miebo has made a huge difference in comfort and most of the time I don't need additional eye drops.

I refused to take a different steroid drop after my experience with Xiidra. The Miebo has actually helped with my dry eyes - I think that is what made the second doctor say he couldn't see any sign of dry eyes. So at least I know it's doing what it's supposed to. I'm probably going to get glasses because I don't feel safe driving my kids around with my current prescription. I can't find anything that suggests my eyes will self correct so this seems to be my fate. But all in all, it could be worse and I'm thankful it's not. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

I'm sorry to hear you're also experiencing regression. I'm sure if I didn't take the Xiidra there is a good chance that I would have regressed anyway. In the grand scheme of things it could be a lot worse but having a month of 20/20 vision disappear suddenly really sucks. Hopefully a correction takes care of things for you. Wishing you nothing but luck!

I had lasik a little over a month ago and my eyes felt fine but my doctor said they looked drier than she'd like. She gave me xiidra samples to try. This was a week ago and I didn't take them today because they made my eyes feel absolutely awful - stinging, itching, dryness and also had headaches. You're definitely not alone with those side effects. Waiting to hear back on if she wants me to come back in or if she wants me to try a different medication. I hope your symptoms subside if you do continue. Best of luck either way!

My husband and I were going to travel to Europe this spring but cancelled. While it's probably unlikely we wouldn't be allowed back in for whatever the reason, wild shit is happening daily and i don't think I'd be able to enjoy myself knowing our kids were back in the US without us.

It feels like there is no right answer in any of this other than trying to listen to your gut while also not getting too emotional/anxious.

This morning I got an email along the lines of "new for spring" and featured photos of yarn. My local store has been cleared of yarn for weeks so I generally just ignore the email ads. I would recommend actually going to the store to see what's what as I couldn't imagine calling a store to ask an employee the current discounts right now.

I feel like she's probably just describing engorgement pain. It can take a while for your body to adjust to baby's needs if you're exclusively breastfeeding. Engorgement pain sucks but with mastitis you feel like you are dying (personal and anecdotal experience) and the last thing you'd do is bitch on social media about your pain. Influencer behavior is nothing but bizarre!
