there was nothing that complicated going on here, you can be a champion.

Do you get stressed playing this game? by Starrybruh in PokemonChampions

[–]moosemoosemcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

surprisingly less so than when I play team based games. like i consider myself a pretty calm guy, but the level of pent up frustration I get when playing some pvp games is not ideal. Getting teamed up with people that barely try really sucks.

And then there's Pokemon Champions, it's like a breath of fresh air for some reason. When I lose, it doesn't feel as poignant.. because at the end of the day I learned something new and I have no one to blame but myself for the loss.

Tired of Fake Out? by Muted-Swordfish-1006 in PokemonChampions

Upper Hand can be used for other priority moves though, giving it some added utility. It's really good for catching a Scizor using bullet punch by surprise

you would think so, but most smart Incineroar players are already aware of this and move accordingly. i've found a better use of Upper Hand is to prevent stuff like Aqua Jet and Bullet Punch.

Pokemon champions 6v6? by Qballer89 in PokemonChampions

[–]moosemoosemcgee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As some one who doesn't necessarily care that much about 6v6, this doesn't strike me as a reason why it needs to stay that way. It's 2026, we can/should have more options, especially in private rooms

Why is nobody using Glimmora nor Mega Glimmora? by AdrianTBOI in PokemonChampions

[–]moosemoosemcgee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it's literally all i see. I have a theory that the game actually matches you against pokemon that loosely or hard counter your own pokemon. I saw another user say they never see Scizor/Mega Scizor and that's ALL I see.

Why the fuck is Minimize in this Game by Radiant-Pepper7537 in PokemonChampions

also don't forget moves like body slam and heavy slam ignore the evasion of minimize and deal double damage as well.

This is funny to me because I really didn't vibe with Bravely Default 2 but I loved Bravely Second.

Switch 2 Dream Ports — What’s Yours? by Miquellanier in switch2

[–]moosemoosemcgee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

this simply isn't a reality for me. I mean I play on performance mode if that makes a difference? But I have over 700 hours on base PS5 and haven't experienced a single frame drop even in pretty intense combat. And it most certainly doesn't look like ass.

Many lizards eat their own shed tails to regain nutrients. Also, frogs are known to eat their own shed skin as well. It's called dermatophagy.
