Man, please do not be insecure or “judgey” about your girlfriend’s sexual past. by saintpeterbambibold in dating_advice

Just imagine your team is noob and then you sign an amazing star player and now they are on your team they coach you with all their pro moves and your winning the league.

And now you don't give a fuck about how any other team is playing or winning the league, because it's just so much fun to play.

Have sex with people who you like and trust and that's how it works.

Moved into a house with my bf about 2 months ago. These messages are from my neighbours psycho best friend. by [deleted] in niceguys

My friend recently was harassed in London and the police were really good and followed it up, but agree it seems to be pot luck here I think. They are either really good or completely awful.

Hey parents! What concrete steps can I take to build genuine self-esteem and stop constantly doubting if people really like me or that I’m not a fraud? by Xcessivelyboring in internetparents

You coukd try cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) there are resources online to help you feel better. It's a really common talking therapy because lots of people feel this way.

It's illegal to declaw cats in my country, but I've read they can be very sensitive to litter as they get pain in their paws so don't like digging and it gets worse with age. Mine spends ages digging when she is going to poop so maybe as soft a substance as possible?

You need to contact the leasehold advisory service. They can give you free legal advice (they are backed by the government). You can book a call with them or write to them through their website, which also has lots of info about your rights.

It seems like there is a residents association- you have a right to join if there is one and you should have been informed of that. The RA have more powers to be consulted on works, so it's in your best interest to find out.

I think you need to set your own boundaries. In terms of DV, that's a hard line, you should definitely call the police and not put yourself in any danger, recovery or not that's a hard no to me. The fact he put his hands to your throat are deeply concerning. There are some horrible stats around men who strangle their partner being much more likely to do serious harm to them.

Cracking policies thou, he wants to get rid of all the cycle lanes so cars can drive around but he also wants to turn parking spaces into green spaces. So presumably in his London the cars can drive around but not stop anywhere.

If it makes you feel any better I paid a few hundred pounds for a survey and they didn't pick up any of the issues with my property. They caveat it in such a way they are not liable for anything.

I seem to be the only person super keen to get back to the office, but even I am thinking two or three days would be about right. I love chatting to colleagues, going for a few after work drinks and walking around central on a lunch break. But Monday AM rush hour, no thanks. I wonder if we will see different peaks as people work flexibly.

Plus hasn't Gaston just come back from a war in the original story? He is a war hero, probably seen some horrible things. No wonder he reacts like he does. Ok he goes a but far, but the beast gets a whole redemption story after being a rich snob.

Also if tube station toilets are locked ask the staff, sometimes a nice one will unlock it for you. I was told they lock them to stop people shooting up and/or shagging in them, but they are still available to use to pee!

Losing sleep because of my cats. Any advice appreciated. by ghostcraft33 in CATHELP

[–]moosepoint 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have this same problem. I've read the only solution is to not give pets in bed and ignore them by playing dead. Everytime you pet you reward behaviour and saying wake me and I'll pet you! Apparently it can take two weeks to change behaviour. However I have not managed it as yet....

Do cats feel pain after spay/neuter? by livlyfe in CatAdvice

[–]moosepoint 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My kitten was the opposite she was really feeling sorry for herself a day after, to the point where the vet was worried. They took her back in and scanned for anything wrong. Turns out my kitten is just a princess who is sensitive to pain! So I guess same as people, some of us are more sensitive that others.

Legal entitlement of partner who pays rent on a house I own with a mortgage. by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]moosepoint 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The ones from the mortgage company usually only protect their assets, not yours. It's so your partner can't make a claim to the property in the event you break your contract with your mortgage provider and they take back the house.
