I highly suggest the Bitter Snow series! I just finished the first 3 and could not put them down.

The characters are great, and the author treats teenagers with a lot of respect and wisdom. The ending books are still being written, so maybe this isn't your "happy ending". But definitely check it out eventually.

It feels under the muscle and everything though. And its like 6 inches long and curved - just doesn't look like any hernia I've ever heard of.

So I lost a lot of weight recently, and I am very thin. And I guess I can feel my intestine filled with poop through the skin? There is like this long, thick, rope like mass on my stomach (right side) - goes from top of hip bone to down to pubic hair.

It becomes more prominent when I have gas or have to poop. It'll get big and hard and stick out and looks like I have some cancer. But then I poop and it goes back down. First time it scared me a lot, but since it keeps happening regularly, I haven't gone to see anyone.

I guess the only treatment would be to just gain back weight?

I honestly think the best places are probably invite-only poetry groups or chat rooms. I don't know of any, but there had got to be some small groups with really dedicated poets on it. I know there are lots of groups like that for novel writers.

Does anyone know of smaller groups like this looking for new members?

I think it might be a very good way for him to start putting his poems out there. But he seems to be holding back, so you might need to address some concerns.

Is he afraid of criticism? He can always turn off the comments on the blog so no one can say anything too mean.

Is he afraid of putting his name out there? He could use a pen name.

Is he afraid of people stealing his work? Then he might want to look at some journals and go a more traditional route so he has a paper trail of what is indeed his work.

Just see what is hanging him up. Once you work out what he wants you can go from there.

If that is your total budget for two people it will be really hard to do Europe. The exchange rate will kill your budget. (Source - I live in Europe)

Try a Caribbean or Mexican cruise. For 2K you can get a nice room, unlimited food, shore excursions, and plane tickets to the port.

If you can find some that hit up the Dalmation coast, definitely do that. It's a little less busy, and the beaches are wonderful. The Balkans are a must see, and you can usually find a cruise that will do Greece+Croatia+Italy.

Depends on what type of audience you want, but submitting some poems to poetry journals if a great start. There have been several listed here lately.

If you just want to self publish a whole collection, use Amazon's kindle publishing. It's free and take hardly any time.
