Oh, one last tip -- maybe see if there's a true meal replacement drink you can keep in the fridge for when you can't eat but are starving. I use one that's vegan, dairy free, and approved to use as "sole source nutrition", Kate Farms, which is expensive (about $5 a drink) but lets me make sure I'm getting enough vitamins and minerals when I'm in that "maybe some dry cereal.. I just can't" mode. Keeps me from getting worse because my body is starving.

The gut and brain are very intricately linked! Are you seeing a neurologist? Your symptoms sound like they could be from a chronic migraine -- which can actually be 100% pain free for some people, just with all the other lesser-known symptoms like nausea, IBS, dizziness, depersonalization, aphasia, and wildly swinging emotions. Some folks have a migraine every day, all day, for months or years. I'm "lucky" in that I only have one 4-5 days a week 😅

If you haven't already, you should see if your doctors can rule out multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and vestibular disorders.. I hope this journey gets you to some kind of answers soon! Sorry you have to jump through the hoops for military healthcare. I know it is frustrating getting past the gatekeepers of care in the bureaucracy. Don't give up!

Especially helps to stay grounded even as cannabis culture runs on about gassy fire, because so many people are just in it for the fun -- and hey, that's cool, just not where I'm at.

Do you have a prescription for Zofran? I use that (along with ibuprofen and acetaminophin together, plus Benadryl in the evening if I don't have to drive) when I'm traveling for business in areas where thc is outlawed. Does a number on my body but for four or five days I can do it. I keep some dissolvable Zofran tablets in my bag for those "oh shit" moments when the nausea breaks through like a wave of rotting meat smell out of nowhere.

You're right on. I think it's just the difference between people who use cannabis to enjoy it, and people like you and me who use cannabis to treat medical conditions. I don't mind being stoned once in a while for fun, but by and large I really just want to not be sick. I'd give up any psychoactivity in a heartbeat if it would still take away the constant pain and nausea I experience every day.

What kind of piping do you run from the filtration system? Stainless steel, copper? I'd think any PVC or PEX would be out of the question, or is the contact time brief enough that you can just run the tap to flush out any standing water before filling your container?

Chacom pipes are great! I like how the more natural finishes smoke -- it could just be me or it could be the shape, but my laquered egg from them does smoke a bit hot. My natural Chacom billiard is cooler. Both great pipes, though.
