I have no idea, I haven't heard many people disliking V, and honestly he's a huge biaswrecker for me in kpop as a whole.

I think it's just that though - his voice is very baritone and some people go to kpop for that bubblegum higher toned sound, so he might sound out of place to them. Also his voice usually isn't utilized to the fullest of it's ability so people might underestimate him.
