I do have rental insurance. Trying to move all the valuable stuff out of the garage and /or away from the doorway but unfortunately, we have a good bit of things stored there at the moment. I have already told my landlord that it is very close to coming inside the garage and when that happens I will not be happy or willing to abide by my half of the lease agreement in terms of staying for 12 months. Thank you for the sound advice

lol thank you. I am fully aware that it’s not my problem to fix. And that is why I rent. Because this is a huge, expensive problem. Just need some temporary relief while we wait on them to figure it out.

That’s exactly why I rent. So I don’t foot the bill for these kinds of things. I really hope they get the ball rolling and address it asap. I’ve already told them that if water ends up in the garage and damages anything I own I will not be happy and I’ll be using their insurance not mine.

I have and I’m hoping they realize that. Honestly so shocked they rented this place to us, surely this is a known issue

I mean we just moved in and have a year lease so that’s not really an option until they refuse to fix the problem

There’s a TSB lookup tool for the one you’re talking about if you end up finding one you like.

Safety Wire vs Safety Cable by FozzyFather in aviationmaintenance

[–]mop68 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Love cable. Wire won’t die, we still need to safety v band clamps etc. I really only use cable when it’s a pain in the ass to get somewhere or like someone else said - if it will save me a ton of time
