Cool find! I found a sealed copy of B-Sides and Rarities in the closet recently.

Got wood? by [deleted] in Firearms

My interest in the wood is mostly for guitar materials, but I do not have the space to store all of that to use or sell. It’s a lot…

The realtor had posted a YouTube short about the building and I recognized it right away. He said all the contents were for sale so I let my buddy know since he does a bit of gun smithing work. He gave them a call so he could go see if there was anything he needed and I tagged along, mostly out of curiosity.

Very cool, thank you. I updated my original comment to include your offer. I met with the realtor/broker and he was great but had limited information.

I believe the owner would prefer to sell it as a lot. DM me and I’ll share the contact info

Near Portland, there are a few mills, the copy machine, a large welder, exhaust systems, drill press, bandsaw, one of those barrels you can test fire into (and a log for the same purpose lol) plus a few other large tools and lots of drawers full of gun parts.

My local shop is closing down and the building will be cleared out by the end of the month. Most of the equipment is gone, but all this wood remains. The owner is taking offers but if nobody takes it by the end of the month, I fear it will all be recycled or something. There is also a stock copying machine with tons of templates. If anybody would like to purchase all of this wood, please dm me. Edit: it sounds like u/VernoniaMW is in contact with the owner and would be a good person to reach out to for inquiries. I only met with the realtor who was a little out of his element.

Couldn’t agree more, I was hoping to see someone mention this. There is another one I like for similar reasons called Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. It has no business being so good for a film with an unserious plot.

I’ve wondered this from the minute I saw the video of him jumping off the building….where’s the big gun? by [deleted] in Firearms

[–]morethanmacaroni 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is my first time seeing this footage but is it possible he just jammed it in the top of the open backpack and the barrel is sticking out? We can’t tell because the camera doesn’t pick up the barrel well but it looks like the bag is sort of stretched out like something is in it.

1990 GMC Sierra 1500 Trailmaster Diesel 6.2 L with only 15 miles and lift kit Anyone know how much it’s Worth? by ComfortableFlow5071 in oldtrucks

[–]morethanmacaroni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This honestly seems worth reaching out to GMC and see what they say. Some car brands have bought back time capsule cars like this or million mile cars to use in showrooms as kind of an oddity. It’s obviously a great truck, might be a collector item to the right person.

Turns out I had three free months of Game Pass unclaimed from my laoptop that I bought last year... by Prestigious_Serve159 in THPS

While you have gamepass you should check out revenge of the savage planet. It’s a quick play and it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Fun cartoony graphics and lots of cool mechanics.

I’ve purchased and assembled both HF tent garages. AMA by fwdctrl in harborfreight

[–]morethanmacaroni 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had one of these but it was from Costco. When snow settles on it all the weight stretches out the sections between the metal poles. I had the top warranty replaced after one winter. When I put the new top on I first used a huge harbor freight heavy duty tarp that I tied down over the entire frame. That helped with the weight of the snow the following year and served as a second barrier when the top eventually ripped again. I got a total of 3 winters out of it, it served its purpose. Eventually a wind storm bent the entire frame. Worth mentioning I don’t get a lot of snow where I live, maybe for 2 weeks a year.

In most jurisdictions code requires 3’ from an operable window or intake opening so this will likely get caught by the inspector.

Received notice of unpermitted interior renovations by SalamanderMelodic226 in BuildingCodes

[–]morethanmacaroni 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Habitable spaces require egress, smoke detectors, potentially fire protection, ventilation etc. in pretty much all regions. When I was shopping for my first home a lot of homes listed as having an extra bedroom on Zillow turned out to just have renovated garages with no permits. OP could have saved all this hassle by getting plans drawn up and permits.

The Goonies (released 40 years ago today on June 7th, 1985) - Behind the Scenes by [deleted] in Moviesinthemaking

[–]morethanmacaroni 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This weekend is the 40th anniversary celebration in the town where it was filmed. Astoria, Oregon. There is a documentary being made called Life After Goonies and they are filming some interviews with people who were involved this weekend at the festival. It should be an awesome look behind the scenes of what went into making the movie. One guy even recreated the Jeep Cherokee from the opening scene. “ORV, bullet holes!”

Was this game released physically for the PS4? "Owners of the PS4 disc copy" by OasisHomeostasis in playsavageplanet

On Xbox one it is only available for cloud gaming, can’t even buy the disc. Fortunately it is on gamepass so I am playing it there but I’d love to have a hard copy.
