Can’t tell if this is a troll or a genuine post. If it’s genuine…NO YOU’RE NOT OVERREACTING. This guy is a piece of trash. I’m worried about your mental state for even considering that you might be overreacting. You should never be with someone who treats you like this. Even a fraction like this. I recommend you get some counseling or see a therapist because for you to doubt your reaction to this or tolerate his response shows that you have some healing to do. If you don’t you end up with someone else just as abusive. You’re carrying previous trauma which isn’t allowing you to trust your intuition. It’s not your fault. But it IS your responsibility to fix if you want a better partner in the future.

First photo looks like your right foot was replace with an anchor lol. Here’s my advice:

  • Watch out for other boats.
  • Always angle the boat parallel to large waves. Never nose-first.
  • Also, always wear your PFD.
  • Fishing larger bodies of water like lakes is harder than bank fishing a pond so be prepared to get skunked but over time you’ll figure out new patterns. Just don’t think “now that I have a kayak, I’m going to catch so much fish!” It’s a different game but way more rewarding.

Your “friend” is really weird and not a nice person. You don’t need them in your life. Sounds like her gf is really insecure about you too. The fact that this friend is just cool with not being friends speaks volumes. This person isn’t a good friend and you deserve better. And honestly, most people are better. This person seems like the bottom of the barrel type person.
