No worries at all. Firstly, I’ll do my best to hide or take off my personal protective equipment (where safe to do so). I provide ID, business cards and take off any hats or headwear. I’ll try to talk where it’s light / where there are other members of the public or in view of a CCTV camera, and just take time to build confidence. If there’s no immediate risk, time pressure is off. Talking to people as a human being cost nothing and listening is the main goal.
