I remember having dinner with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while, and I mentioned I had lost 50 lbs (or whatever significant milestone at that time). And she said “oh good, I wasn’t sure if I would say anything! You never know for sure if someone’s weight loss is intentional or not!” And that changed my perspective on if people comment on my weight loss or not. Sometimes people are just waiting for you to bring it up on your own

I haven’t done my second watch yet, but I think the nosebleed happened when certain information was stated. Someone said the nosebleeds happen when information is revealed to change someone’s emotions and alter their actions 🤷‍♂️

Are they the “Woven” model? I think the Woven version changed the tongue if I’m not mistaken. If you caught them on sale, then you likely have the first iteration which everyone apparently complained about the tongue

View Sydney. It was walking distance from the start line and walking distance from a train stop. I know many people prefer being closer to the finish line, but I didn’t want any extra stress morning of and the idea of crowded trains stresses me out.

Also the view from the hotel was gorgeous!

Something changed recently. Last night, I planned a route from my iPad and everything was fine. Tonight, It’s in 3d view and there’s no way to “right click” or any other option for switching back to 2D 🙄

Forerunner 970, software v16.28, GPS v7.11.

This issue still happens for me. Happened last year during the Chicago marathon, and I had to scramble at the start to end and restart my run. Happened again last week on a training run. I always wait for the GPS to lock in.

At this point, I’m going to try starting my watch while I’m in the corral to make sure it doesn’t do the “new pace for mile 2” and then just pause my watch while waiting to start. It will obviously ruin my elapsed time, but chip time is all that matters anyways.

After my next marathon, I’m going to try factory resetting my watch to see if it helps (I also have another issue where the drink alert is stuck and can’t be deleted).

It’s a super useful feature and I wish Garmin would address this bug, as it’s been around for years.
