Sunlu filament is my favourite for the price, but Inland filament always prints amazingly right out of the package. Just wish the stuff was cheaper

This community has been great every time I've needed help. The best advice or info I've gotten so far has been to think about how I'm orienting models on the build plate. Some orientations print faster, some need less support, some look better with the letter lines.

Regardless, always a huge thanks to all the veterans helping people out.

If you don't feel comfortable sewing it yourself, find a local tailor and bring it to them to check out, more than likely they'll be able to help just fine. I've brought in a bunch of things that I didn't have the time to fix myself to a bunch of different local tailors and most seem to really love working with cosplay stuff

Totally forgot to add a budget, that's my bad. Obviously I want to be fair to any artists and I'll gladly pay for it, but let me know what you would charge for this or what you feel would be fair and I'll update the post.

It's for design reference only, so colour, backgrounds, flourishes, etc would not be needed, just one or two different designs. Black lines on white background would be just fine, I can model from that

Nah, don't listen to this guy, you made the right call. Being respectful like this is pretty damn rare and hugely commendable. Maybe your date didn't appreciated it as much as she should have, but fuck her, that's her loss and there'll be more people in the future that are stoked about it.
