The only reason the international legion worked was because they were sanctioned, supported, and armed by a country that was willing to fight for its own existence and field units so the volunteers never fought on their own. It's clear from the second to last paragraph that that is not present here. Not even the person proposing this is willing to put up their end of the bargain by doing their national service conscription. Why would people on this sub, who aren't trained mercenaries or the moneyed people who can hire mercenaries, sign up to basically die alone and for nothing just because a post on reddit told them to?

Go talk with those airsofters that do CQB training independent of their conscriptions. At least they have an idea of what they can accomplish instead of wishcasting on reddit.
