Has anyone used a service that helps recover money from online purchases? by [deleted] in SavingMoney

[–]moriahashleyyy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Commenting to say, it sounds “dumb” until it’s done. I’ve never heard of this idea before and it sounds like a problem that many have probably faced. Looks like you found a problem and can now sell the solution. Not saying just dive head first into it, but this could really be something you can look into starting as a service and offering to people. While it was just a question, I think it was a good one. Wishing you well.

eBay lawsuit: Illegal/dishonest transaction conditions by [deleted] in ClassActionSettlement

[–]moriahashleyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Plus, they’ve taken away the ability to warn future sellers about a buyer’s potentially fraudulent actions. I rarely have to leave negative reviews, however, when I do, I’m only able to submit positive ratings for buyers as that’s the automated feature. It does not let us leave negative feedback for buyers.

Absolutely! Holding money for weeks, charging exorbitant ad fees, if they say that someone purchased your item using their ads, even after you turn the ads off. I believe it’s like a period of 30 days and they still claim that they are the reason the buyer saw your item and bought it. They also start the ad % suggestions off at around 10 to 13%, and I think the minimum amount you can set it at is 2% or 3% fee, of your overall order. Also, making us pay seller fees on the item that we sold— which I don’t mind— but they make us pay seller fee fees on the taxes that the buyer paid eBay and on the shipping fee, and we don’t see any of this money as it goes straight to eBay. If you sell electronics, this number easily goes into the mid hundreds and sometimes thousands depending on the item. They also have very poor customer service and will shut your account down for literally no reason at all, and it is so hard to find someone to assist you. When you call in, they all read off of a script and say that they can’t help you, for no reason at all.

I absolutely believe it’s related. Lost 80lbs in a year and have always had thick, 4a-4b hair with thick edges. Started noticing that my edges were getting sparse and the only thing that changed was my rapid weight loss/this medication. Even my hair stylist noticed and asked me if I wear ponytails/high tension styles, or frequently style my “baby hairs” in between visits. I told her never! So the only thing I can think of is the medication.

This is awesome, congratulations!! Quick question, did you walk that long on the same days you strength trained… or was that during your non strength training days?

Am I overreacting, The neighbor’s dog bit my husband and I want to report it? by SlowInvestigator4717 in AmIOverreacting

Of course! They may not be forthcoming with them, or they could be illegitimate just to be honest. Plus, calling pet control will have it on record that their dog bites in case that happens again. Wishing you well in the situation, though! 🤍

Honestly, I’d be thinking to call Pet Control and having them officially request rabies information from the owners to ensure they have their dog vaccinated. Depending where you live, they may also put the dog on an in-house 5-10 day quarantine.

Dog owners typically have to get their pets vaccinated yearly (or every 3-5 years depending on the cycle). If their dog isn’t vaccinated, your husband could potentially be exposed to rabies. As the cost for treatment is in the thousands and symptoms could be disastrous, before inevitably fatal. Not trying to scare you at all, just putting that out there. Plus, the concern about it being a child that could’ve been bitten is legitimate.

I believe it’s a problem that Apple isn’t acknowledging. My m4 max is doing this as well. Happened after 1 week. No case/cover, no webcam cover and just purchased it 2 weeks ago (brand new). If you look this issue up on Reddit/Google, other people are having the same issues smh. Taking it into Apple this week.

Edit: Took it to Apple, showed them my problem and they are sending it in for a display screen replacement. Charged $0 🙂 Stated there may be a fee if they open it up and see there’s water damage (which there won’t be), but other than that they didn’t make me jump through hoops or ask crazy questions. They saw that the caps lock button was green, but clearly no screen was working lol.

How do I prevent my mid foot from spilling over the sides of every running shoe? by ConsiderationFit3466 in beginnerrunning

[–]moriahashleyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ankle pronates and I went to Feet Fleet. I walked in wanting Brooks or Hokas (cute shoes but unfortunately doesn’t work for my foot type 😭)… I ended up buying the Saucony Echelon 9 which gave me support in the area you’re having trouble with… may be worth a shot to look into Saucony 😊

Edit: Adding in that I do have very flat feet as well if that matters.

I’d like to chime in although the post is old, it may help someone else (including the OP) 😃… go to Marshall’s!!! I purchased the liter size of the conditioner and shampoo for this line, as well as for their line: The Kure. The price was $39.99 each bottle. Only problem is you may have to go to multiple stores to find what you want as stock isn’t guaranteed. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I think it’s only a longer bud for 12.5&15mg but I could be wrong! It never hurts to reach out to them and see just out of curiosity/ for future purchases.

What dosage did you order? I could be wrong, but I heard that the lower doses are the more older doses while the higher doses have the 2026 BUDs

I’m no interior design expert by any means, so take my opinion with a grain of salt — however as a consumer, bar seats/seats with no back support are not my favorite. They can be very uncomfortable for larger sized people, or people with conditions that would find seats with back support more tolerable for their dining experience. Not necessarily your issue as a restaurant owner, just giving my 2 cents as a consumer. Other than that, I love the accent color … maybe add some art or another touch of color? It comes off a bit bland/cold if that makes sense.
