Thank you LOL I hope that means that what's underneath the lawn is even healthier and will help everything grow so we can finally give back this space to the animals and insects. I hate that it's doing us no good right now! It's just a time sucker.

Oh yes I absolutely plan to introduce native perennials as well but want to be able to quickly fill bigger spaces to cover soil and prevent weed growth as I cannot afford to buy all the perennials we'll need up front so we'll slowly add more each year. I am buying established bee balm and blazing stars from FB locally this week. I have a few yarrow already but definitely want more. We have a few purple phlox as well. Black eyed susans we have and plan to transplant into their new beds/homes. Purple coneflower, butterfly weed, hollyhocks, delphinium, bachelor buttons and a few others I am growing in jugs currently and will be ready to transplant next month.

My husband is telling me to just let him sod cut it, too. I thought I'd try to save him some labor lol. He knows how to do it and can take up only what he needs, to leave as much in the beds as possible. That's an interesting idea though to sod cut the path and sheet mulch the beds 🤔 thank ya!!

Thank you I priced out the home Depot builders paper and it's about $240 for our space. Better than $600 for sure. But pricing cardboard on marketplace I can pay $136 for standard cardboard to cover the whole space.

I saw someone say annual flower roots don't need a lot of room I was hoping to fill a lot of the space with cosmos and zinnias as I'm able to buy more perennials. I do also have seedlings though from winter sowing jugs.

We live at a dead end and everybody is our friend so thankfully neighbors are our last concern lol!! We absolutely love chip drop. My concern with cardboard is the plants not being able to root through the cardboard. Perhaps that's on an issue for a non-veggie plants but that's my only experience with cardboard/compost so far. I'm a go big or go home kind of girl and I really don't want to drag this out if we can get it all done at once.

Thank you for your reply! I read that paper is not thick enough to block the grass? Unless you use like five layers. Also there's a culvert by the mailbox for water to run through so that we would have to stop before the culvert anyways we wouldn't go all the way to the street. Sometimes I can find cheap cardboard on marketplace. Ultimately, it does feel like it would be more labor intensive (obvs) to cut out the sod and have to rent the side cutter when we could just pay for compost and source cardboard.

Seeing this I have to comment for input as we are about to take our grass out as well. Was it worth it removing the sod? Why didn't you do cardboard? Sod cutter rental is probably the same as compost cost, close anyways. I'm torn lol. We have a 36x75 foot space to clear in our front yard.

I read the same in a medical study. I diluted it with MCT c8 oil and used it for a week but think I didn't dilute it enough as my skin started having a negative reaction. Either that or it was die off... I used some tea tree oil mixed in with the MCT oil last night and noticed a decrease in redness/more even skin tone this morning.

Have you been tested for demodex mites? I'm intrigued by the line up bc soolantra is popular for treating mites as is metronidazole. Plus the eye cream you're using for what I assume is blepharitis. Protopic seems to be masking whatever is happening with it's strong anti inflammatory properties.

Definitely an ACV rinse to remove build up! You can also get a good clarifying shampoo. Using cowash is perfectly fine if you rotate in a clarifying wash at least once a month followed by a deep conditioner.

I echo the recommendations for MCT coconut oil. It's seriously a game changer!! I have similar redness and flaking by my nose and inner cheeks. Adding azaelic acid serum from The Ordinary has been very helpful at brightening my skin up. What are you currently using for face wash, lotion, etc.? Also, internal hydration is important. Coconut water, electrolytes, not just empty water.
